Jennifer Rubin of the Washington Post is advocating for Democrats to modify their messaging to assert that "Republicans are intent on taking away your children's lives."

In her "Jen Rubin's Green Room" podcast on Tuesday, Rubin stated that Senate Republicans who agree to President-elect Trump's cabinet nominees will have to pay a "political price."

The individuals who recklessly placed unsuitable, disloyal individuals in positions of power are accountable not only for their actions but also for the atrocities that will follow. Democrats must act swiftly to trace these individuals, hold them responsible, and communicate to the general public who voted for them and who is responsible for the consequences.

Rubin suggested that in order to effectively communicate, one should focus on specific details and use concise language. He defined "pithy" as being able to convey a message in a brief and impactful manner. For example, Rubin stated, "Republicans are determined to take away your children's lives. This is a fact."

Planet Chronicle Digital reached out to Rubin and The Post for comment.

In the Trump era, Rubin, a former conservative writer who has been advocating for Democrats, has been vocal about her disapproval of MSNBC's "Morning Joe" co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski meeting with Trump at Mar-a-Lago, calling it "disgusting" on social media. Notably, Rubin is an MSNBC contributor.

She even fueled a growing boycott of her network colleagues.

"Rubin stated on her podcast in October that she does not believe the reason given for the new policy. She believes that the sudden decision to endorse everyone except presidential candidates, starting with this election, is not credible. Rubin pointed out that they had endorsed a presidential candidate in 2020 without any issues. She perceived this new policy as bending the knee to Donald Trump at the worst possible moment when democracy is at stake."

"Rubin found it inconceivable that a billionaire who owns a newspaper would not run afoul of a man who has declared war on democracy and the free press, even though the newspaper does business with the federal government."

"How much more harm does The Washington Post suffer when it is forced to provide a false explanation? However, the issue extends beyond Jeff Bezos and The Washington Post. It extends beyond the LA Times and USA Today. This is about how free societies protect themselves from fascist threats."
