Trump to Declare America's Resurgence in Second Inaugural Address: 'A New Era of Prosperity'
Trump's Second Term Promises to be Fulfilled in First 24 Hours, Says White House Press Secretary
In his inauguration speech on Monday, President-elect Donald Trump will unveil the potential for a prosperous era in America, as announced by incoming White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt.
Trump will return to the White House on Monday, making history as the second president to serve two non-consecutive terms.
On a special weekend edition of "America's Newsroom" Sunday, co-anchors Bill Hemmer and Dana Perino were informed by a guest that President Trump would discuss the restoration of Americans' hope in this great nation as we enter a golden age of America.
President Trump will discuss the current reality of the world, including the border invasion that has made every state in the country a border state, as well as the dire economic situation caused by the Biden administration's policies.
"You'll hear him discuss his plan and his executive action on day one to address the issues that have affected Americans for the past four years. After listening to his speech tomorrow, Americans will feel a renewed sense of hope and optimism. You can already sense this optimism in Washington, D.C. this weekend."
Trump will face numerous pressures after regaining control from Biden, including the economy, border security, and global instability.
On day one, Trump intends to issue executive orders to repeal certain Biden-era policies. However, other plans may require more time, leaving Leavitt with the responsibility of explaining to the public how the administration's plans will be implemented.
Leavitt stated that President Trump would fulfill many of his campaign promises to the American people within the first day of his inauguration.
"Our policy team has been working tirelessly to put together orders for him, so we can immediately shut down the southern border, revitalize our energy industry, reverse many of the disastrous Biden administration executive orders signed on day one four years ago, which have led to increased cost of living and inflation in this great country. These actions are monumental and will transform the way the government in Washington, D.C., works, the bureaucracy operates, and how American taxpayers are being ripped off. It is a big responsibility, and we don't want the details to be lost on the American people."
