Trump supporter Nikki Haley pens op-ed in favor of Trump ahead of Election Day.
Haley stated that while Trump may not be ideal, he is a better choice than Harris.
On Sunday, two days before Election Day, Nikki Haley, a Republican who ran against former President Trump months ago, wrote a supportive op-ed about the presidential candidate.
The Wall Street Journal published an opinion piece titled "Trump Isn’t Perfect, but He’s the Better Choice" on Sunday, written by the former South Carolina governor.
In the 2024 Republican primary, Haley challenged Trump before dropping out in early March. In an op-ed, she argued that the "millions" of Americans with mixed views of Trump should vote for him.
"Haley acknowledged that she does not completely agree with Mr. Trump, but she mostly agrees with him and disagrees with Ms. Harris. As a result, she believes this decision is straightforward."
During Trump's presidency, Haley served as the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations from 2017 to 2018. She has been known to openly praise and criticize the Trump campaign, and has argued that the "Biden-Harris agenda" has made the world "far more dangerous."
"The Republican stated that the southern border is the most pressing security threat, and Mr. Biden and Ms. Harris have worsened the situation. Additionally, the debacle in Afghanistan led to the creation of a new terrorist state and signaled weakness, which prompted Russia's war against Ukraine."
Haley stated that Iran's appeasement has empowered its despotic government and encouraged it to wage war against Israel through its proxy terrorists.
The ex-ambassador predicted that a second Trump presidency would have its flaws, but it would also bring tax cuts, greater support for American energy, and a stronger global standing.
"Haley wrote that these significant policy differences will have a significant impact on the lives of Americans and many people worldwide. She stated that she is certain that Mr. Trump will do things she does not like in a second term. If the question before voters was whether Mr. Trump would lose, she believed he would."
"However, the question in any election is not whether a politician gets everything right. Instead, for those who can see Mr. Trump's flaws and are honest enough to admit them, the question is whether we are better off with his policies or his opponent's."
"The candidates have significant differences in their views on taxes, spending, inflation, immigration, energy, and national security. Among them, Mr. Trump stands out as the superior choice."
After television personality Mark Cuban made controversial remarks about Trump not having "strong women" around him, and referenced Haley specifically, the piece came days later.
"Cuban stated on "The View" Thursday that Donald Trump rarely encounters strong, intelligent women, as they intimidate him."
The businessman stated that he doesn't like to be challenged by them, and Nikki Haley will call him out on his nonsense regarding reproductive rights and how he views, treats, and talks about women. He can't have her around as it wouldn't work.
Last week on Planet Chronicle Channel's "Special Report," Haley publicly endorsed Trump to host Bret Baier.
"As I stated at the Republican National Convention, you don't have to agree with Trump completely to vote for him. I have made my choice, which is between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris. My daughter can't afford groceries, and the economy has been challenging for everyone."
