Trump spokesperson clashes with CNN host over Harris as the 'change' candidate: She's currently in the White House.

On Thursday, Vice President Kamala Harris will conduct her first interview with CNN, accompanied by her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz.

On Thursday, Karoline Leavitt, a spokeswoman for the Trump campaign, had another heated argument with a CNN host before the network's interview with Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.

John Berman and Leavitt debated whether voters should view Harris as the "change" candidate on CNN.

Despite being the incumbent vice president, a new Planet Chronicle poll in four battleground states in the Sun Belt found that voters viewed Harris as equally capable of bringing needed change as former President Trump (49% Harris, 48% Trump).

Berman began the interview by asking, "How do you explain now that Vice President Harris is viewed as a potential candidate for change, as indicated by the poll?"

"The Trump 2024 national press secretary stated that it is their objective in the weeks leading up to Election Day to clarify to voters that Kamala Harris is not the candidate of change or the future, and that she is solely accountable for the past four years' failures as the current vice president of the United States."

Harris has been criticized by Leitt for promoting Biden's economic strategy, which has led to the worst inflation crisis in decades, and for overseeing Biden's open border policy as "border czar."

"She does not deserve a promotion. She deserves a demotion," she continued.

The CNN host rejected the claim that Harris was the border czar before reiterating the notion that voters perceive her as the candidate of "change."

"Is it possible that the 78-year-old Republican nominee who has been running for president for nine years is starting to have an impact?" he inquired.

According to Leavitt, this race is not based on age but rather on skill.

The two engaged in a debate over whether voters prioritize Trump's social media activity or Harris' track record.

On Wednesday, Berman inquired about the political memes Trump shared on his Truth Social platform, including one that insinuated Harris had traded sexual favors to advance her political career, according to the New York Times.

What was the reason behind Donald Trump's social media activity in the past 36 hours, which involved reposting slogans from QAnon and spreading misogynistic and sexist content about Vice President Harris?

She rejected the inquiry, asserting that voters prioritize illegal immigration and rising gas prices under Biden.

"She replied, "I believe your viewers are not preoccupied with social media posts. Instead, they are focused on the day's news, which includes the takeover of a hotel in rural Colorado by a Venezuelan illegal immigrant crime gang due to Kamala Harris and Joe Biden's open border policies. Additionally, gasoline prices have increased by 50% since under Donald Trump.""

As Berman continued to press Leavitt about the memes, their relationship became more tense.

"Do you know why he reposted that content?" he asked.

Unlike Kamala Harris, who has been evading the media for over 40 days, I haven't had the chance to speak with President Trump this morning because he is currently participating in interviews with the media.

On Thursday evening, Dana Bash of CNN will conduct Harris's first sit-down interview since being named the Democratic presidential nominee.

Critics on social media harshly ridiculed the vice president for inviting Walz to the interview with the friendly network, despite avoiding the press for over a month.

The Trump spokeswoman expressed excitement that CNN will have the chance to grill Kamala Harris on her poor track record, and she believes Dana Bash will ask tough questions about it.

Americans are not preoccupied with social media posts and memes; instead, they are focused on the issues affecting their families. They require and deserve answers to the questions posed by Kamala Harris. She then proceeded to provide a list of far-left policies that Harris has abandoned since her 2019 presidential campaign.

To demonstrate the actual harm caused by the Biden administration's open-border policies, Leavitt named girls and women who were killed by illegal immigrants after Berman persisted in questioning whether the posts were disrespectful to women.

"What I find demeaning to women is that Kamala Harris and Joe Biden are allowing an invasion of illegal criminals into our country, many of whom have proven to be rapists and murderers. What I find demeaning to women like Laken Riley and Jocelyn Nungara and Rachel Morin is that they are no longer with us because of the policies of this administration, and that is what voters and your viewers care about, John," Leavitt responded.
