Trump's survival after the second assassination attempt is considered a miracle, according to Hannity.
The host of Planet Chronicle declared it a security lapse once more.
On Sunday, Sean Hannity of Planet Chronicle responded to the press conference given by law enforcement officials regarding the attempted assassination of former President Trump.
"It's disturbing, and I must be honest. When the shooting happened, the president confirmed the story. They heard pop, pop, pop, pop, and knew it was a gunshot. Immediately, within seconds, the president was on the ground covered by brave Secret Service agents. However, not having a fence around the perimeter is unacceptable, as it allows someone with a scope on an AK-47 to get within range of the president."
Hannity criticized law enforcement for asserting that the protection provided to a presidential candidate was "exactly what it should have been."
"The former president who just survived a recent assassination attempt is not the current president, according to what was said. We need answers," Hannity said. "The security threat is real."
"What is the reason for the lack of security cameras, motion detectors, and an observer on the street near the shooter's location? This is yet another security failure. It is truly remarkable that the man survived."
The FBI is investigating a second assassination attempt on former President Trump at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida. The suspect, Ryan Wesley Routh, was identified by law enforcement sources and was allegedly armed with a rifle when agents fired at him.
Trump issued a statement following the incident, assuring that he was safe and well and no one was hurt. He also expressed gratitude for the support of his followers. Despite the efforts of those who seek to stop him, Trump vowed to continue fighting for his supporters and to never surrender. He concluded by expressing his love for his followers and his belief that through unity, they would make America great again.
An assassination attempt on Trump occurred at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, about two months prior to the incident.
Hannity stated that the media should not overlook this issue. He does not want any elected official to be threatened in any circumstance. This is not a political matter for him, and he wants the nation to be safe and secure.
