Trump's Music Taste Praised by Kid Rock Amid Media Criticism
Everyone should be able to enjoy music, according to Kid Rock.
Despite criticism from the media about his music preferences, Kid Rock believes that former President Trump's music choice is "freakin' the best."
Trump is content with controlling the same playlist as part of his music ritual, according to Axios.
The president often plays classic hits at his Mar-a-Lago events and rallies.
"During an appearance on "The Ingraham Angle," Rock stated that he has a playlist of good songs that he would listen to, including "House of the Rising Sun," Springsteen songs, Elvis, Elton John, and patriotic tunes."
The artist known for their hit song "All Summer Long" has performed at UFC fight nights alongside Trump, with the crowd cheering to the tune of "American Bad A**."
Trump's playlist includes classic songs such as "You Can't Always Get What You Want" by The Rolling Stones, "Suspicious Minds" by Elvis, "Hello" by Lionel Richie, "Phantom of the Opera" and "Jesus Christ Superstar."
Trump's playlist, featuring many recognized songs, was dismissed by critics who took jabs at his music preferences, regardless of the recognition.
"Rock exclaimed, 'It's amazing — he's jamming out to music and having a blast, and by the way, he's playing a lot of artists that probably don't agree with his politics, but what does that say about him as a person?'"
Rock argued that music should be accessible to all individuals, regardless of their background or circumstances.
"Music, regardless of the occasion, should be the best and we should celebrate it, particularly American music," he stated.
"Whatever it is, man — celebrate life," Rock added. "We're here for a good time, not a long time."
