Trump's election night loss was described as an "epic disaster" by Harris surrogate.
The DNC official stated that the Obama's delay in endorsing Harris for president was a negative indication for her campaign.
Lindy Li, a member of the DNC National Finance Committee and a fundraiser for the Harris campaign, analyzed the reasons behind the "epic disaster" of Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign against President-elect Donald Trump this week.
In Li's view, several factors contributed to the campaign's failure, including Biden's decision to choose Harris as his successor, the overconfidence of the Harris campaign in their polling data, and Obama's delay in endorsing Harris as the Democratic candidate.
On Saturday morning, Li declared that the Harris campaign had resulted in an epic disaster, costing $1 billion.
The Democratic Party official stated that President Biden intentionally pushed Harris to become the nominee in order to sabotage the party's chances against Trump in revenge.
If Trump was truly an "existential threat" to America, as Democrats claimed, they should have followed their own rhetoric and held a process for selecting Biden's successor, rather than simply coronating someone.
"I believe President Biden's decision to endorse her just thirty minutes after dropping out was a major middle finger to the party," she stated.
"Isn't it like sticking it to the man when suggesting that he's sticking the party with Kamala Harris?" Cain asked. She replied, "Kinda."
Li assured Cain that she was not affiliated with any Democratic candidate and was present to provide the truth about the campaign's failure. She stated that despite raising $1 billion-eighteen million, the Harris campaign ultimately lost.
The DNC member stated that she fundraised for the campaign under the assumption that the election was a "margin of error race."
"I raised millions of dollars for the campaign, but now I have to explain to my accountable friends what happened because I told them it was a margin of error race. I was promised by Jen O'Malley Dillon, the Harris campaign chair, that Harris would win. She even put out videos saying so. I believed her, and my donors did too, so they wrote massive checks."
Li expressed her concern that she feels like many of us were deceived, and she wondered if the campaign had access to confidential information that she was not privy to, in order to explain their confidence.
Li was questioned by Cain regarding the role of the Obama family in the Harris campaign's outcome.
"Michelle and Barack Obama waited three days to endorse Kamala Harris, as pointed out by Li. This silence was felt globally."
Prior to Biden's endorsement, they were vetting people like Arizona Senator Mark Kelly, and Kamala Harris wasn't at the top of the ticket.
She concluded that Biden's endorsement was a "big F you" to everyone.
