Trump responds to his performance in the ABC News Presidential Debate and discusses the possibility of a second debate with Harris.
In Philadelphia, Vice President Kamala Harris and Trump faced off for the first time.
Trump stated on "Hannity" that he believes his performance at the ABC News Presidential Debate was his "best debate ever."
He stated that he thought it was excellent. Although we had three against one, he had anticipated the debate moderators David Muir and Linsey Davis, who at times fact-checked and challenged the former president on his responses.
Trump stated that some states permit abortion up until the ninth month of pregnancy when asked about his stance on the issue by Davis.
Trump stated that the previous governor of West Virginia, who said, "The baby will be born, and we will decide what to do with the baby, in other words, we'll execute the baby," is the one he is referring to, not the current governor who is doing an excellent job.
After finishing his comments, Davis stated, "No state in this country permits the killing of a baby following its birth."
Planet Chronicle invited both the Trump and Harris campaigns for a second debate in October.
"Trump replied, "She wants it because she lost. I don't know. I have to think about it. But if you won the debate, I sort of think maybe I shouldn't do it. Why should I do another debate? She immediately said we want another debate. That's... you know what happens when you're a prizefighter, and you lose? You immediately want a new fight.""
"Would you be inclined to say yes?" Hannity asked.
Trump stated, "Perhaps had it been on a level playing field, I would have done that."
The GOP presidential candidate in 2024 criticized Harris for her responses to certain debate questions.
He stated that he had been preparing for debates all his life, unlike the other participant who entered the room and memorized lines.
Trump and Harris received positive and negative reactions to their respective debate performances.
Brit Hume, the chief political analyst at Planet Chronicle, stated that the former president did not perform well.
After the debate, Hume stated that we had heard so many of the old grievances that we believed Trump had learned that they were not politically viable.
Harold Ford, Jr., a former Democratic congressman and "The Five" co-host, admitted that Harris could have given more specific answers and better addressed changes in her policy positions.
