Trump Rally Probe: Hawley Slams USSS, FBI for Unanswered Questions
'What is going on, as Sen. Hawley questioned on 'Hannity'?'
Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., appeared on "Hannity" following his interrogation of the acting Secret Service director regarding the security breaches at the Pennsylvania rally where former President Trump almost got assassinated. Hawley disclosed that whistleblowers have revealed that law enforcement officers were assigned to be on the roof where the gunman fired.
JOSH HAWLEY: According to whistleblowers, there was law enforcement assigned to the roof during the January 6th riots. I asked the Secret Service director about this today, and he admitted that he was unsure. However, seventeen days have passed since the incident, and the Secret Service has not conducted any local law enforcement debriefs or interviews. In fact, they have done zero local law enforcement debriefs or interviews since the shootings. This raises questions about the Secret Service's intentions and whether they are truly trying to get to the bottom of what happened. The American people deserve the truth, not whitewashing, stonewalling, or bureaucratic gobbledygook. I will continue to push for the truth until we receive it.

I don't trust any of these people to provide us with accurate information. We witnessed it firsthand today. All we received was evasive and misleading information. I personally went to Butler and the FBI arrived on the property, stating that they were conducting an investigation. I responded, "I don't care what you're doing, I have my own oversight to handle."
According to whistleblowers, a law enforcement officer who was tasked with monitoring the roof of a building where Thomas Crooks, the would-be Trump assassin, fired from on July 13, abandoned their post due to the heat.
At the rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, a 20-year-old crook fired multiple rounds from the roof of the American Glass Research (AGR) Building 6, which was located outside the rally perimeter but had a clear view of the former president standing on stage.
"According to Hawley, a whistleblower with direct knowledge of the Secret Service plan and setup on the day of the rally revealed that there was at least one law enforcement officer assigned to the roof. However, the whistleblower claims that the plan called for a law enforcement individual to be on the roof at all times during the rally, which did not occur. The whistleblower also stated that the law enforcement officer assigned to the roof abandoned it."
