Trump mocks Kamala with fake transcript of his chat with Obama: "I knew you'd triumph"
A parody video of former President Obama's conversation with President-elect Donald Trump was posted on social media by the latter.
Trump mocked his political opponents by sharing a fake transcript of his conversation with Obama on Truth Social, where Obama supposedly said, "I knew you'd win."
The video depicts Trump and Obama criticizing Kamala Harris' unsuccessful presidential campaign at Carter's funeral, using AI-generated dialogue that mimics their voices.
After Obama and Trump sit down next to each other, they exchange pleasantries while a funeral dirge is played in the background.
The conversation swiftly shifts to the possibility of Trump winning the 2024 presidential election against Harris.
In the video, Obama stated, "I knew you'd succeed."
""Anyone could defeat her, that's easy," Trump said."
There has been much speculation on social media about what Trump and Obama discussed during their friendly chat at Carter's funeral on Jan. 9.
Desi Lydic, the host of The Daily Show, mocked the incident by saying, "It's a bit strange for Obama to go from being labeled as 'future Hitler' to being praised as 'cool story, future Hitler.'"
"Trump stated to Peter Doocy of Planet Chronicle during a Mar-a-Lago press conference following the funeral that the two individuals appeared friendly and that they likely had a good relationship. He added, "I don't know, we just got along.""
In the mock video, Obama criticized Biden for persistently seeking re-election, ultimately withdrawing from the race after a poor debate showing in June 2024.
Obama said to a smirking Trump, "He didn't want to leave, and I did everything I could to help [Kamala], but she was terrible."
Obama was told by the president-elect that he understood that Clinton still "hates" and will "never forgive" him, and the video then showed a stone-faced Clinton.
The parody ends with the two presidents meeting when Kamala Harris and her husband second-gentleman Doug Emhoff enter the church and sit in the row in front of them.
"She won't even look at me," Obama stated.
Trump has been known to use social media to attack his political opponents. Trump trolled Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau by posting a map that depicted Canada as part of the United States with the caption "Oh Canada!" to his Truth Social account on Tuesday Jan. 7.
