Trump, the former president, stated on "The Ingraham Angle" that he believes in heaven and shared his prayer requests.

The 2024 Republican nominee discussed with Laura Ingraham on Planet Chronicle how the US has "lost" a lot due to the decline in religious practice.

Trump declared at the Republican National Convention that he believed he had "God on his side" after being wounded in the ear during an assassination attempt at a rally in Butler, Pa.

"Trump stated that he believes the loss of religion in the country is a significant factor in the country's decline. He pointed out that the country has lost a lot, and religion is not as prevalent as it once was. Trump cited statistics to support his claim, stating that the country's religious practices have been severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. He criticized the Democrats for their actions during the pandemic, stating that they were violent and ruthless towards religion. Trump also mentioned that people were not allowed to meet outside and were 10 feet apart in some big fields, which he described as "sad.""

"He continued, 'They'd arrest everyone. They were fascists. They were terrible. That was a bad time for organized religion, but religion gives you hope. If I'm good, I'll go to heaven.'"

Trump stated that he prays for his family, the United States, and the world.

"He said he prays for our country, just like I do. We both hope for the safety and well-being of our family and our nation. But we also recognize that we are part of a larger world, and we pray for its peace and prosperity too. He shared how he had worked to prevent global conflicts from escalating into full-blown wars."

He added that a world war could be "very close."

"The Russia-Ukraine conflict is escalating, with billions of dollars being spent. Now, Russia wants offensive weapons to attack Moscow, which could lead to a world war. The Middle East is also at risk of exploding, and the Russia-Ukraine conflict is more serious than you might think."

Ingraham asked Trump whether he believes in heaven.

""If I'm good, I'll go to heaven; if I'm bad, I'll go somewhere else," he stated."
