Trump deems 'enemies from within' a greater threat than foreign adversaries.
In an exclusive interview on 'Sunday Morning Futures,' Trump cautions against political 'lunatics' on the 'inside.
If elected back to the White House, Trump outlined his plan to prevent bureaucrats from undermining him as the commander-in-chief.
"Trump stated in an exclusive interview on "Sunday Morning Futures" that he believes the enemy from within is more dangerous than China, Russia, and other countries."
Trump stated that it is more difficult to manage the "lunatics" within his administration, such as Adam Schiff, who he nicknamed "Shifty."
""He is the enemy within, as he endangered our country with Russia through a false deal he made with Hillary and some unsavory individuals," he stated."
Trump referenced the censure of California Democratic representative Schiff for alleging Trump's 2016 campaign colluded with Russia, which made Schiff one of only three House members to be censured in the past century.
Trump's first impeachment proceeding was led by Schiff, who initiated the investigation after a phone call with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy during which he attempted to use U.S. military aid to pressure him into announcing an investigation into President Biden.
Trump remarked that the reason for Hillary Clinton's loss in an election that many believed she should have won was initially an excuse, as the polls suggested she might win.
"She was beaten everywhere virtually, and then they used it as an excuse, claiming it was Russia, and the fake news picked it up."
Trump criticized Vice President Kamala Harris' recent interview with CBS News' "60 Minutes," calling it "the single greatest scandal in broadcast history."
The network had been pressured to release an unedited version of the Harris interview after airing a lengthy response to a "60 Minutes" correspondent about Israel to promote the sit-down, according to a previous report by Planet Chronicle Digital.
The version of Harris' answer that was initially aired on "Face the Nation" on Sunday was not included in the Monday edition of "60 Minutes." Instead, a shorter, more concise answer was shown.
At the time, a Harris campaign aide informed Planet Chronicle Digital that they do not control CBS's production decisions and directed inquiries to CBS, which had not responded by an Oct. 9 publish time.
Trump stated that CBS interviewed Kamala and she gave a dumb answer, which was removed. They then inserted another answer she gave to a different question.
"CBS and '60 Minutes' should lose their license for supposedly doing this multiple times and getting caught."
According to the Associated Press, CBS refused to respond to criticism from Trump "on the record" but privately maintained that no action was taken with the intention of benefiting Harris.
Planet Chronicle Digital's Elizabeth Elkind and Brian Flood contributed to this report.
