Trump claims that the assassination attempt was partly due to Biden and Harris' rhetoric: "Perhaps that bullet is a result of their words"
Trump responded to a question about his rivals' reaction to him being shot by saying, "I don't know, there's a lot of hatred."
Trump attributed his near-death experience "in part" to the rhetoric and perceived lack of security from the Biden-Harris administration.
Trump claims that other partisan factors contributed to the assassination attempt on him at a rally in Pennsylvania in July, despite key details about the would-be assassin still being unclear.
Trump stated that he has always been somewhat angry and that he believes the Secret Service has made it difficult for President Biden to have the appropriate number of agents.
He claimed that he had massive rallies with 50, 60,000 people and our people always fought for more security and Secret Service, but he knew we didn't have enough.
Trump stated that when the assassination attempt occurred, people would inquire about who was responsible. In his opinion, he believes that to some extent, it is both Biden and Harris' fault, he said.
"I am the opponent, and I believe they were weaponizing the government against me. They brought in the entire DOJ to try and get me. While I understand their position, I believe they were not very interested in my health and safety. However, I would be if I were in their position. But, from what I understood, they were always making it difficult to have proper staffing in terms of Secret Service, which I could feel."
The Secret Service admitted that it had rejected some security requests from Trump's team following the assassination attempt.

"I don't know," Trump replied. "There's a lot of hatred, I mean."
Trump argued that when one side disagrees with something or doesn't want to do it, a lot of hatred is generated.
He used being labeled a "threat to democracy" as an illustration of the hatred, but they would argue that it was a standard line. They would continue to repeat it, and it could lead to assassins or potential assassins being motivated. That is a terrible thing.
He remarked, "Perhaps the bullet is due to their rhetoric. It's quite vile, you know."
The former president contended that he has been subjected to attacks rather than engaging in discussions about policy.
"In the Democrat convention, my name was mentioned hundreds of times," he said, while claiming that other critical threats facing the country were ignored. "And yet my name is mentioned like 300 times. She mentioned my name, I guess, 19 times in her speech alone. 19 times."
The Biden administration and Harris campaign declined to comment on Planet Chronicle Digital's requests.
