'The View' gives a glowing endorsement of Kamala Harris' 'flawless' campaign.
While discussing her policy flip-flops, Whoopi Goldberg asserted that Harris has "always been who she was."
"The View" resumed its broadcast on Tuesday and praised Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign, with one co-host declaring it "flawless."
Sunny Hostin expressed optimism for America after attending the Democratic National Convention, while Alyssa Farah Griffin lauded Kamala Harris' campaign for being "flawless" and praised her for shifting her stance on fracking and other issues.
Since her unsuccessful 2020 presidential campaign, Harris has shifted her stance on several left-wing policies, including the Green New Deal, fracking ban, and eliminating private health insurance. During a recent interview with CNN's Dana Bash, she maintained that her values remain unchanged.
Griffin stated that Harris has shifted to the center, but Hostin and Goldberg countered that the vice president has always been moderate.
"Goldberg remarked that Harris' flip-flops indicate that people change and develop, with the distinction being that someone has now openly acknowledged it."
"The host stated, "She has always been true to herself and has never pretended to be someone else, so she is hitting on many levels.""
Joy Behar disclosed that she attended an event with Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, Harris' running mate, during the summer and stated that he was the type of individual one could rely on for directions.
JD Vance, if asked for directions, would likely lead you to traffic, according to Behar's assessment.
The co-hosts urged viewers to vote and Goldberg cautioned against allowing anyone to mark ballots after voting, as it would not be counted.
Don't forget to do your homework and be aware of your voting rights. If you're unsure, ask someone, as not voting means you won't be counted.
Hostin stated that it was "not the time" to remain politically disengaged and "not the time" to stay at home.
At the conclusion of the segment, Behar stated, "We are trusted because we are verified by ABC News, ensuring the accuracy of the information we provide."
The first presidential debate between Harris and former President Trump will take place on Sept. 10, and it will be hosted by ABC News.
