The New York Post demanded accountability for journalists who aided the White House in concealing President Biden's cognitive decline, stating that they should be held responsible for misinforming the public.

The Post's editorial board wrote Wednesday that journalists who are friendly to the Democrats saw the same evidence as everyone else that Biden was compromised, but instead of being skeptical and asking questions, they joined the effort to deceive America.

As Biden prepares to depart from office, the media is once again under scrutiny for its coverage of one of the year's major stories - doubts about Biden's fitness to hold the presidency.

During the 2024 presidential campaign, numerous media commentators and pundits defended Biden's mental abilities, particularly when there were rumors about his forgetfulness, as seen in viral videos of him appearing confused and a Wall Street Journal report detailing his struggling demeanor behind the scenes.

Although many journalists treated questions about Biden's health as a right-wing conspiracy, polls showed that the majority of Americans believed he was too old to serve a second term.

The Post dismissed any notion that Biden was not healthy as a right-wing conspiracy theory.

After Biden's poor June debate performance, the concerns about his campaign intensified and eventually led to him being pressured to withdraw from the race.

The Post's editorial stated that spineless journalists, who were in-the-tank for Team Biden, faithfully carried out their propaganda work until the debate, when Biden's senility became too evident to deny.

The Post stated that the liberal journalists who defended Biden in a recent Semafor report had damaged their credibility beyond repair, despite now appearing bashful.

Semafor spoke with journalist Josh Barro, who expressed his contempt for the president and those around him, whom he accused of elder abuse, and also expressed embarrassment for not seeing through their deception earlier.

Mehdi Hasan, a former MSNBC host, admitted to being completely, utterly, totally, and embarrassingly wrong about Biden's lack of mental competence.

At a time when media trust is at a historic low, according to Gallup polling, the revelations emerge.

The Post's editorial board argued that Biden's former defenders in the media should not be spared from criticism.

The editorial stated that no one who was involved in covering up or disregarding this horrific scandal should ever escape the consequences.

A recent Wall Street Journal report, based on interviews with current and former White House staff, claimed that Biden's stamina problems were evident during his first few months in office.

The White House refuted the Journal's report on Biden's policy accomplishments, stating that they prove his qualifications and leadership in a statement given to Planet Chronicle Digital.

Planet Chronicle' Joshua Q. Nelson and Hanna Panreck contributed to this report.
