A South Carolina woman was discovered disheveled and chained up in a large shipping container by investigators, who later learned she was a serial killer with seven convictions.

Todd Kohlhepp, a local real estate agent, kept Kala Brown captive for 65 days. After she went missing for two months, investigators discovered Brown on Kohlhepp's property and learned he had killed her boyfriend, Charlie Carver.

John Douglas, the real-life "Mindhunter," believes that Todd Kohlhepp, a serial killer, murdered more victims in prison.

A potential sex crime investigation led to a shocking case.

"I never imagined this investigation would lead to such unexpected results. I thought, how many more victims does he have?" Anderson PD retired detective Charlynn Ezell stated in Fox Nation's "The Amazon Review Killer."

A chilling tale of a killer concealed in plain sight is detailed in two parts, with online comments linking Kohlhepp to his heinous acts.

Kohlhepp's review of padlocks on Amazon led investigators to the shipping container where Brown was held for over two months.

In the Fox Nation special, FOX Carolina reporter Brookley Cromer stated that he had posted cryptic comments about them.

"It's astonishing to consider that the person was purchasing these items for a different purpose than what others assumed."

Investigative journalist Melkorka Licea remarked, "Todd's Amazon reviews seemed to hint at the murders he was about to commit."

On Nov. 3, 2016, investigators discovered Brown alive in a large container at Kohlhepp's 100-acre compound. They questioned her about her missing boyfriend, who vanished with her on Aug. 31, 2016.

"Charlie?" Brown replied in the video from her rescue. "He shot him," she confirmed, still in restraints. "Todd Kohlhepp shot Charlie Carver three times in the chest. He wrapped him in a blue tarp, put him in the bucket of the tractor, locked me down here — I’ve never seen him again."

Kohlhepp would eventually confess to the killings of Carver and six others over a 13-year period and would receive seven consecutive life sentences without the chance of release.

The Amazon Review Killer is a Fox Nation special that delves into the horrifying crimes committed by Todd Kohlhepp.
