The Democratic Party has been weakened by President-elect Donald Trump's victory to the point it has the stench of "loser" on it, according to DNC National Finance Committee member Lindy Li.
"According to Li, a prominent fundraiser for the Democratic Party, the party has the scent of defeat written all over it, as she stated on "Fox & Friends Weekend.""
Sundar Pichai, Sam Altman, and Mark Zuckerberg, leaders of Big Tech companies like Google, OpenAI, and Meta, respectively, have all either met with or made donations to Trump after his election victory.
Zuckerberg announced plans to donate $1 million to Trump's inaugural fund, following in the footsteps of Amazon and Altman, who also made a $1 million donation.
"As a Democrat, I am saddened to say that I believe the Democrats will be excluded from power for at least the next four to eight years. Jeff Bezos must be thrilled that he withheld his endorsement. Despite their efforts, the Democrats are working hard to maintain détente."
In 2013, Bezos bought the Washington Post and subsequently ended presidential endorsements by the paper before Election Day this year, which upset some liberal staffers and reporters who wanted the paper to support Vice President Kamala Harris.
Li stated that the tech industry is thrilled about the incoming Trump administration.
"Li stated that the tech industry is excited about Donald Trump becoming the next president because he has been supportive of cryptocurrency. He has expressed his desire for the US to become the global leader in cryptocurrency."
Li discussed the growing disapproval of key Democratic Party policies, particularly on illegal immigration, as voters are becoming increasingly frustrated with the Democrats.
"As an immigrant who became a naturalized American, Li expressed his disappointment that people are entering the country without proper control."
In early December, Trump met with Zuckerberg at Mar-a-Lago to strengthen their relationship as Zuckerberg prepares to take office in January.
