The "all hell to pay" ultimatum issued by Trump was instrumental in securing the release of Israeli hostages: "Strong stance."

As President-elect Donald Trump prepares for his White House return, a long-awaited Israel-Hamas cease-fire deal is unfolding, providing hope to hostage families, despite some acknowledging it as a "deal with the devil."

Ronen Neutra, whose son Omer was killed by Hamas terrorists, told Planet Chronicle on Sunday that the deal was stuck before President Trump was elected.

"The impact of President Trump's clear message, "By my inauguration, I want to see hostages coming out, or else there will be hell to pay," was significant in the Middle East. We hope that with his leadership, we will see all 98 hostages released starting today, including the three female hostages."

He stated, "We share their family background and are deeply invested in their journey, feeling elated to witness their emergence."

Trump threatened to bring "all hell to pay" if the Hamas captives were not released by his inauguration date, according to a Truth Social post last year. This message provided some hope to the families of the captives, including one who described it as "the type of language we were missing."

On October 7, 2023, it was determined that Omer, the son of Ronen and Orna, an IDF tank platoon commander from Long Island, New York, who had been thought to be one of Hamas' captives, was actually murdered by the terror group.

His parents, who have consistently advocated for the safe return of hostages, intend to be present at Trump's inauguration in Washington, D.C., on Monday.

On Sunday, the Israel-Hamas cease-fire deal released female hostages Doron Steinbrecher, Romi Gonen, and Emily Damari prior to the ceremony.

During the special pre-inaugural Sunday broadcast of "Fox & Friends Weekend," Orna Neutra responded to the news.

"We've formed a family with the hostage families, and we've been on an emotional roller coaster for 15 months. We've heard so much about these young women and have become close to their families. We're excited and anticipating meeting them and seeing them rehabilitate and continue with their lives," she said.

Additional hostage releases are slated to come with phase two.

Palestinians are similarly celebrating the cease-fire deal in Gaza.

"Ronen Neutra stated that this is a deal with the devil. The terrorists responsible for the killing of 1,200 people in one day, the worst day in Israeli history since the Holocaust, also killed 45 Americans. Despite the horror of the situation, we celebrate because we believe in the dignity of life. The terrorists believe in the dignity of death, and we value every soul. Our values will guide us in our fight to bring back the 98 people and with the leadership of President Trump."
