Texas Lieutenant Governor Warns of Biden's Border Inaction After Jocelyn Nungaray's Murder: "It Can Happen to You"
Biden should secure the southern border, urged Dan Patrick, following the Houston slaying of 2 migrants.
Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick of Texas issued a warning about the deadly consequences of the border crisis, accusing President Biden of failing to secure the border with Mexico immediately after the murder of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray.
"If Joe Biden had any compassion for the families of Laken Riley, Rachel Morin, and others who have been killed, he would secure the border on Thursday, the day of Nungaray's funeral," Patrick stated on "America's Newsroom," Wednesday.
"This little girl was tortured, strangled, and thrown in the river like a rag doll. Now, I urge America to wake up. This could happen to your wife, daughter, sister, or grandmother. It's all thanks to Joe Biden, who has allowed animals to roam freely in the country. If it weren't for him, these three women would still be alive today."
On Tuesday, it was stated by prosecutors that two Venezuelan immigrants who were residing illegally in Houston allegedly enticed a young girl under a bridge, where they then sexually assaulted her before binding her up and ultimately taking her life.
Capital murder charges have been filed against Johan Jose Rangel Martinez, 21, and Franklin Jose Pena Ramos, 26.
As we stand there, mourning the loss of this family, Biden will continue to allow more animals like those accused of killing her into the country, Patrick pointed out.
The former President Trump was urged by a Texas Republican to confront Biden about the outcome of his border policies during the CNN Presidential Debate on Thursday night.
I would inquire of President Biden, 'Can you identify Rachel Morin, Jocelyn, and Laken Riley?' And Joe Biden has the option to respond either by saying, 'Yes, there are three individuals who should be alive today except for my border policies,' or by admitting, 'I am unfamiliar with these individuals.'
On Tuesday, Alexis Nungaray, Jocelyn's mother, tearfully told "Hannity" that "we must put an end to burying our children."
"This isn't acceptable. We need more reinforcement when it comes to allowing people in. This is not acceptable," she said.
In May, El Paso, Texas, Pena Ramos illegally crossed the border, according to sources from the Department of Homeland Security. He was apprehended by Border Patrol agents and released into the U.S. with a Notice to Appear in court.
In March, Rangel Martinez entered El Paso illegally and was apprehended by Border Patrol. Despite being caught, he was released into the U.S. without any explanation.
At the time of the crime, Pena Ramos had an ankle bracelet from the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency (ICE) on, as pointed out by Kelvin Alvarenga during his "Hannity" interview.
On Friday, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement informed Planet Chronicle that he entered the U.S. unlawfully without undergoing inspection, parole, or admission by a U.S. immigration officer at an undisclosed date and location.
The city of Houston, as described by Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg, is a "major international center" that attracts individuals from across the nation.
"Unfortunately, illegal immigrants are committing a significant amount of violence, and both they and regular people are being victimized. This is a major issue that has been foreseen. As an elected prosecutor, I am constantly waiting for the next incident to occur. I am deeply saddened by the fact that an innocent little girl became the victim of these two monsters."
