Texas Lieutenant Governor has a message for blue state leaders who oppose immigration laws: "Toughen up, sweetheart."
The Trump administration is planning to focus on deporting illegal migrants with criminal records.
Democratic leaders are pledging to oppose President-elect Trump's immigration policies as he prepares for his second term.
Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick of Texas issued a warning to other blue city and state leaders, while some leaders, including New York City Mayor Eric Adams, have changed their stance on Trump's upcoming agenda.
"Patrick stated on "The Ingraham Angle" on Thursday that every blue state governor and mayor who does this should take heed: "You better buck up, buttercup. I don't care if you're male or female. We mean business in Texas, and Tom Homan means business and President Trump means business.""
Despite some Democratic leaders' pledge to oppose Trump's immigration strategy, Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker and New York City Mayor Eric Adams appeared to shift their stance on the president-elect's proposals.
Trump and Adams share the same goal regarding illegal immigration.
"Adams stated that his goal is the same as mine, which is to prevent dangerous individuals from committing repeated violent acts in our cities across America. This cannot be a safe haven for violent individuals. You have a right and a privilege to live in this country, and those who want to commit acts of violence are violating that privilege."
Pritzker concurs with a portion of Tom Homan's mass deportation plan under the Trump administration.
"Pritzker stated at a news conference that undocumented violent criminals who have been convicted of violent crimes should be deported, as he does not want them in his state or in the United States, according to FOX 32 Chicago."
A multitude of Democratic politicians and officials nationwide have vowed not to collaborate with the Trump administration's mass deportation plans or to actively oppose them.
In November, Denver Mayor Mike Johnston stated that he was prepared to be incarcerated due to his opposition to deportations.
Homan replied to the statement by stating that he was prepared to imprison him, citing the same laws he mentioned during his conversation with "Hannity."
"Patrick expressed his utter disgust towards the actions of this administration and every Democrat in blue states and cities, stating that blue leaders are undermining the will of the people and putting their people in danger."
Patrick also torched the Biden administration and President Biden's "legacy."
"He is releasing his son. He's releasing all these criminals. He's working tirelessly with blue state governors and mayors to destroy this country. These individuals are traitors to this country, allowing terrorists, murderers, and rapists to remain. Now he wants to sabotage this president before he leaves office. This behavior is shameful and repulsive," he stated.
"No one has done more to harm American citizens and damage this country than Biden, making him the worst and most despicable president in history."
