Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., criticized former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for stating that former President Trump poses a threat to the country and the world after a second alleged assassination attempt.
If you frequently claim that someone will become the next Adolf Hitler or Mussolini, most people will likely vote against them. However, there are still some individuals who may take extreme measures and consider the person to be truly evil and dangerous. They may believe that the democracy and government system will be destroyed if this person wins, leading them to take action to eliminate the threat.
On Sunday at the Trump International Golf Course in Palm Beach County, Florida, Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, was arrested for pointing an AK-47 rifle at the former president, Donald Trump.
"We must gather more information about this person, including how they arrived, the security of the perimeter, their identity, and the motive behind it. However, we already have enough knowledge about some of the things they've posted to conclude that they were influenced by the rhetoric surrounding Trump as a dangerous dictator-in-waiting," he stated.
After the second assassination attempt, Clinton accused Trump of inciting violence by throwing out "red meat" to "stir up emotions," and urged him to act as a leader by "quelling the storm" instead.
The Democratic presidential candidate stated that it is not possible to give another chance to a highly dangerous man who has the potential to cause harm to our country and the world.
Vice President Harris and President Biden, along with other prominent Democrats, have issued warnings about Trump, stating that he poses a "threat to democracy" and encouraging voters to unite behind their cause.
Trump attributed the suspect's actions to the alleged incendiary rhetoric of Biden and Harris, stating on Planet Chronicle Digital, "He believed their rhetoric and acted on it."
In July, Trump faced a threat to his life at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania when gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks opened fire on him. Now, Routh's attempt on Trump's life marks the second time the former president has experienced such threats in a two-month span.
