Robby Starbuck: "One person can make a difference in the fight against corporate wokeness"
'Multi-billion-dollar organizations are being forced to change their policies without prior notice.'
Robby Starbuck, a conservative activist who opposes corporate diversity, equity, and inclusion programs (DEI), believes that the American dream could be lost if Democratic Party leaders continue to pretend they are not communists while speaking like Fidel Castro in 1959.
Starbuck, who previously directed Hollywood productions and music videos, shifted his focus to activism after coming out as a Trump supporter during the 2015 GOP primaries. He claims to have been "blacklisted from Hollywood for being a conservative" but remains unapologetic and plans to devote his life to combating what he sees as a dangerous "woke beast" that threatens to destroy America.
Starbuck, who comes from a family that escaped communism in Cuba, believes that America is on a dangerous path towards a new form of communism. According to him, the new form is even more dangerous than the old one from the USSR and Cuba because it doesn't openly admit what it is.
"The new world and technology have enabled the Democrats to pretend they are not communists because they don't need to take complete control of the means of production. Instead, they control the ideology of those companies and institutions, which gives them the same power as if they had stolen the means of production in a more openly communist scenario."
Starbuck, a resident of Franklin, Tenn., an affluent suburb of Nashville, stated that his family left Cuba in the 1960s in search of a better life in America. However, he believes that modern Americans do not have the same opportunities as those who fled the Castro regime.
If this occurs in America, my children will have no place to escape. You will also have no escape, and acknowledging this truth requires being honest about it. As a result, I have openly discussed it.
Starbuck has committed to activism, concentrating on safeguarding children and striving to eradicate DEI at prominent corporations. Through his film "The War on Children," he intends to reveal how liberal ideology harms kids, and he has initiated online campaigns targeting such initiatives at numerous companies.
Starbuck played a crucial role in revealing social agendas at John Deere, Tractor Supply Co., and Harley-Davidson, leading to all three companies abandoning initiatives. However, critics argue that the hasty withdrawal of DEI initiatives demonstrated their lack of commitment to the cause.
Jack Daniel's parent company, Brown-Forman, was next according to Starbuck, but the brand likely learned about our LinkedIn activity and scaled back on DEI initiatives before we could make any changes.
He wrote that we are compelling large corporations to alter their policies without prior notice, solely out of fear that they may become the next company we expose.
He boasts about "flipping woke policies" in corporate America and recently posted on social media about Lowe's and Ford Motor Company reversing some of their previous initiatives.
"Our campaign against wokeness in corporate America has shown that one person can make a difference now, as I believe people realize," he stated.
"Starbuck stated that "Wokeness has spread globally like a virus," and their goal is to fight for the normalcy of everyday life for all individuals."
He claimed on Tuesday that he had pressured Molson Coors to make changes to their "woke policies" before they were implemented.
Molson Coors did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Starbucks' activism has caught the attention of the mainstream media, as Bloomberg opinion columnist Beth Kowitt wrote, "DEI has a new adversary - and he's skilled at his job."
A conservative activist has been targeting popular brands among politically conservative customers in a wave of opposition to DEI in corporate America, as reported by CNN in a recent article.
CNN reported that the full impact of his activism is not entirely clear, but companies are rethinking their programs amid a changing political environment and online pressure.
Starbuck, who failed to win the Republican primary for Tennessee's Fifth Congressional District in 2022, is deeply worried about the upcoming presidential election in November.
Starbuck stated that if Kamala Harris and Tim Walz win the election, he believes America will transform into something entirely different that none of us recognize.
"He stated that our country would face some challenging times, so he has intensified his efforts to prevent it from occurring."
