The migrant crisis led to President-elect Donald Trump's historic gains in Democrat-run cities, according to blue city residents.

"During "The Ingraham Angle," P-Rae Easley, a Chicago Democrat-turned-Trump-supporter, and Danielle Jurinsky, an Aurora, Colorado city council member, talked about the reasons behind the frustration of residents with liberal leaders."

"Will your local leaders in Chicago heed the voices of the city's residents, even if Democrats maintain a majority?" Ingraham inquired of Easley on Thursday. "They're not content."

"Today, for the first time in Chicago's history, the entire city council voted against the mayor's budget to fund migrants. It was a unanimous 'no' from 50 aldermen. Chicago, red is gaining ground and influencing our leadership's decisions."

Since 2021, over 51,000 migrants have been received in Chicago, which is known as a sanctuary city.

Since 2022, officials have spent over $574 million to accommodate illegal immigrants due to the surge, which has greatly impacted city resources.

The city council vote, according to Easley, signifies a conservative shift among residents who are opposing liberal policies amid the ongoing crisis.

"Easley stated that the reason for voting Democrat in the city is due to the culture of patronage, bullying, and terrorism. However, with the implementation of a federal decree, the Shakman decree is no longer used, and the people of Chicago are aware that the Democratic Party does not own them. As a result, the city is about to undergo changes, and the recent city council vote demonstrated this."

The Trump administration is preparing to increase its capacity to detain illegal immigrants as part of its plan to launch a massive deportation operation in January, according to Planet Chronicle Digital.

Trump, the president-elect, stated during his campaign that he plans to initiate a significant mass-deportation campaign following the unprecedented migrant crisis at the southern border.

"Jared Polis, the Democratic governor of Colorado, stated that the plan would devastate the economy and society if someone were to forcibly remove long-time residents from their homes. He emphasized that these families should not be torn apart."

Recently, apartment buildings in Aurora, a Denver suburb, have been taken over by Venezuelan gangs, resulting in local community terrorization and garnering national attention.

During an October rally, Trump unveiled his "Operation Aurora" plan, a federal initiative aimed at eliminating illegal immigrant members of Tren de Aragua. The program will utilize the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 to dismantle every criminal network of illegal migrants operating on American soil.

If Polis opposes the Trump administration's deportation plan, it could harm the Democrats politically in future elections, according to Jurinsky.

Jurinsky stated that in this state, they have been treated as third-class citizens, and American citizens have been sidelined due to the governor's liberal policies and the current administration's failure to control the chaos that has been allowed to enter the country.

"If the incoming administration sees our government as a roadblock to Kristi Noem's team, I believe it will harm the Democrats," Jurinsky said. "Tom Homan advised Polis to step aside."
