Rachel Morin's mother believes the Biden administration doesn't prioritize life.
An illegal immigrant is accused of killing Rachel Morin.
Rachel Morin's mother criticized the Biden administration for its "impersonal" response to her daughter's murder and DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for not addressing her by name.
A Maryland mother of five was killed while on a hike near her home, and an illegal migrant has been charged with first-degree murder and first-degree rape in connection with the crime following a 10-month investigation.
On "The Ingraham Angle" Wednesday, Patty Morin, Rachel's mother, criticized Mayorkas for failing to mention Rachel's name during a CNN interview.
Mayorkas stated that his heart breaks for the children, families, loved ones, and friends of the woman who was murdered.
Morin characterized his response as a "political statement," stating that he was "unwilling to acknowledge Rachel's gender, motherhood, and daughterhood."
Morin informed Ingraham that it completely dehumanizes her and turns her into an object.
The mother, mourning the loss of her loved one, conveyed to the Biden administration that the victims of criminal migrants are "American citizens" and the "pillars" of the nation.
Morin stated that these individuals are American citizens who contribute to the country's growth and stability. They are the men and women who keep the economy running, support families, and strengthen churches. Morin emphasized that these people are the backbone of America, and they are us Americans. He criticized the impersonal treatment of people, particularly women and minorities, who are often categorized as statistics rather than individuals with value and worth.
Rachel's loss is felt daily by her family, as Morin stated that she did not want her daughter to be used as a political statement.
"Rachel's absence is always on our minds because of the many shared experiences we had with her," she said. "We're constantly reminded of her and it's heartbreaking because there's a void in our family."
The White House issued a statement expressing sympathy to Rachel Morin's family but declined to disclose how it plans to safeguard the border when questioned by a Planet Chronicle Digital correspondent.
"The White House spokesperson conveyed their sincerest sympathies to Rachel Morin's family and loved ones on Tuesday. However, they cannot provide any information regarding ongoing legal investigations. Nonetheless, they maintain that individuals should be held responsible for their actions if proven guilty."
On Thursday, Patty Morin received a call from former President Trump, and in a statement released by her lawyer, she expressed her gratitude for his compassion and consideration.
