Piers Morgan interrupts woman's rant about 'White man mantra': "Complete and utter halfwit"
Morgan was frequently referred to as 'daddy' and 'sweetheart' by the guest.
On Thursday, Piers Morgan's show descended into pandemonium when he abruptly cut off a guest who kept referring to him as "sweetheart" and "daddy," despite refusing to respond to his inquiries and dismissing her as a "total fool."
During a panel discussion on the Israel and Hamas hostage deal on "Piers Morgan Uncensored," British journalist and filmmaker Myriam François went on a wild rant, refusing to give a straight answer when asked if she believed Hamas should continue to rule Gaza after the cease-fire is implemented.
"I believe we encountered the White man mantra 'it's complicated,'" François remarked.
Morgan immediately objected to her "skin color jibe" and cut Francois off to inquire about her "color," prompting her to reveal that she was "unfortunately on your side."
"Because we have White skin, are you implying that we can't provide our opinions on this matter?" Morgan inquired.
Morgan was accused by François of portraying himself as a victim and continued on his anti-Israel screed. When Morgan asked her whether Hamas should continue to hold power in the Gaza Strip, she said she couldn't answer because she's not Palestinian.
Morgan, frustrated, interjected, "You appear to be a world expert on everything Israel is doing, but you can't even answer a basic question about whether Hamas should have any power after this."
"Sweetheart, I just do analysis," Francois replied.
The "Uncensored" host criticized the journalist for her disrespectful language, stating that he is not her "sweetheart" or "daddy." Earlier in the program, Francois had referred to Morgan as "daddy" in an attempt to regain control of the conversation and prevent the panelists from interrupting each other.
"You are on this occasion," a grinning Francois shot back.
Morgan attempted to get the uncooperative guest to answer whether she supports Hamas's rule in Gaza, but François evaded his question and frequently interrupted him. The "Uncensored" host ultimately reached his breaking point with Francois and declared that she would never be allowed back on his show.
"How about you answer this question or shut up? I'm done with you," the host fumed before cutting off François's mic.
