Nikki Haley delivers a direct message to Trump and the GOP as Kamala Harris gains traction: "Stop complaining."
Trump and the Republican Party should concentrate on policy instead of making petty attacks, according to Haley.
On Tuesday, former GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley commented on the 2024 race, stating that Vice President Kamala Harris is gaining momentum in crucial battleground states before the November election.
On "Special Report," Bret Baier of Planet Chronicle received advice from Haley that Republicans and former President Trump should prioritize policy and messaging rather than focusing on crowd sizes at rallies, the Harris campaign, or criticizing her intellect.
""The American people are smart, and you can't win on those things. Treat them like they're smart and talk to them about your need for their vote," she said."
The former South Carolina governor urged Republicans to stop whining about Harris and to stop complaining that she hasn't given a formal sit-down interview since replacing President Biden at the top of the Democratic ticket.
Haley stated, "We knew it would be her, and she won't give an interview. They'll hold out as long as they can. That's their right. They can do it. However, that doesn't mean we can't discuss her beliefs. We should be out there talking about it."
"I believe her when she says that illegal immigrants should have the right to vote and receive driver's licenses. I also believe her when she says she wants to ban fracking and eliminate U.S. jobs."
Since becoming the Democratic nominee, Harris has not held a formal press conference or given an interview in 23 days. Last week, she told reporters on the tarmac in Detroit that she had asked her team to schedule her first interview before the end of the month.
Baier was advised by Haley to concentrate on winning over suburban women, independent voters, moderate Republicans, and conservative Democrats.
The former U.N. ambassador highlighted the issues that Kamala is facing, including the economy, her plans to raise taxes, her decision to redistribute funds from those without college degrees to those with, the fall of Afghanistan, the lifting of sanctions on Iran, and her inconsistent stance on helping Israel. The ambassador questioned where Kamala was during these events, stating that she was seated next to Joe Biden in the Situation Room.
"Kamala Harris's administration is responsible for everything that has happened. Therefore, define her based on those issues. Discuss them."
At the Republican National Convention in July, Haley, who endorsed Trump, stated that she sincerely hopes he wins in November, but she has no desire to serve in his administration again.
""Trump has the ability to win this election, and I want to see him do it because we can't have a Kamala Harris and Tim Walz," she said."
