Newsom's wildfire response criticized by California mom.
Several wildfires are currently challenging the Golden State.
The mother from California who confronted Governor Gavin Newsom about his handling of the wildfires in Los Angeles County urged him to rectify the situation and enable residents to cope with the aftermath of the fire.
Rachel Darvish rushed towards Newsom as he was about to get into a black SUV, explaining that her daughter's school had been destroyed.
Darvish, an attorney, requested information about your plans.
Newom stated that he aimed to contact President Biden to determine how they could assist Darvish and her daughter.
"Did you hear my call?" she asked, skeptically replying, "Because I don't believe it." Newsom gestured towards his phone, explaining that he had poor cell service and couldn't connect with the president.
On Thursday, Jesse Watters Primetime reported that Darvish stated she believed Newsom's claim of trying to contact Biden.
She asked, "Why doesn't he have a satellite truck with a cell phone? That's a big problem in and of itself, and there was no cell phone reception in certain areas, OK? I really want to believe him, but I really want to, too."
On Wednesday, Newsom briefed Biden on the ongoing wildfires in California.
The federal government will cover 100% of the disaster response costs related to the wildfires in California for 180 days, as declared by the president on Thursday.
Pacific Palisades has a history of fires, and Darvish was unsure why the response was slow.
After receiving a notification of a fire at my house, I left immediately because the fire was right there. On my way down, I didn't see any fire trucks coming to help me, she said to Jesse Watters on Planet Chronicle.
She stated that the fault does not lie with the firefighters because orders originate from the top.
Governor, can you simply clean up and fix this issue, and then move on? That's what I would like to see. But will that happen? I'm not sure. These individuals are deeply entrenched in their actions.
