MSNBC guest praises JD Vance as not being a "despicable character" in clips.
The MSNBC guest stated that JD Vance was a better candidate than Donald Trump.
On Wednesday morning, MSNBC's "Morning Joe" featured ex-MSNBC host Donny Deutsch, who praised vice presidential candidate JD Vance as "good" in the debate.
"He was not a despicable character, he said, although he was too slick. Deutsch described the debate as a draw until the discussion of the 2020 election and Trump's refusal to concede defeat: "I think that that was disqualifying," he said."
"If you can't say that, it's disqualifying in the election," he continued. "I mean, I think that the issue is that whenever I get into debates with anyone, I go, well, democracy, duh, kind of on the docket."
The MSNBC guest who frequently appears on the show commented on criticisms that the debate was uninteresting, stating that it will serve as a "decision" on what the public desires in the future.
"He stated that the main theme of the event was its friendly atmosphere and that it was not a violent competition like UFC. Instead, it was more like boxing. Although he believed that the American public might be interested in this type of event, he wondered if there was a dark side to people's fascination with the entertainment value of Donald Trump and if they were disappointed by the event."
"Although I was enjoying it, they were disappointed: 'No, that's no fun. Are we going back to that?' Now, my better angels in me say, no, people are ready for that. But it's an interesting question," he added.
Trump will be "bothered" by Deutsch's conclusion that Vance's good performance will show Americans he was the "better" candidate.
JD Vance is a superior candidate, and Donald Trump will be dismissive of him in the coming weeks, but this morning, Trump is not happy about it.
