"The experience of my husband's attempted murder was horrific and distressing," Trump stated in a video message on X. "The silence surrounding it now feels oppressive."
"I can't help but wonder why law enforcement officials didn't arrest the shooter before the speech," she continued. "There must be more to the story and we need to uncover the truth."
The former first lady advertised her memoir at the conclusion of the video, which is currently available for pre-order before its October release date.

The gunman was described as a "monster who saw my husband as an inhuman political machine" who tried to "silence Donald's enthusiasm, creativity, love of music, and motivation."
As I witnessed the violent bullet strike my husband, Donald, I came to the realization that both our lives were on the brink of devastating change.
The former first lady's memoir was released in July and has since reached the top spot on multiple Amazon 'Best Sellers' lists.
