Melania Trump expresses concern for her husband's safety amidst the approaching November election: "Toxic environment."
In two months, two assassination attempts have been directed towards former President Trump.
Melania Trump, the former first lady, expressed concern for her husband's safety in the weeks before the November election and accused Democrats of fostering a "poisonous environment."
"Let's question who is truly a threat to democracy. The ongoing lawfare against the former president, as well as efforts to remove him from the voting ballots and silence him, are concerning."
"Yes, I was always afraid of what could happen and that they would continue using that kind of language, which is toxic and creates a toxic atmosphere."
Two assassination attempts were made on former President Trump's life. The first occurred in July in Butler, Pa., when Thomas Matthew Crooks fired shots that grazed his ear. The second attempt happened in September at the 2024 GOP presidential nominee's golf course in West Palm Beach, Fla., when Ryan Routh was spotted with a rifle near where Trump was playing golf.
Melania Trump, in addition to discussing the risks surrounding her husband, shared her plans and objectives should she return to the White House next year, and pledged to continue her "Be Best" and "Fostering the Future" initiatives for children and women.
After leaving the White House in 2021, she started the "Fostering the Future" initiative, aimed at providing educational opportunities and scholarships to children in the foster care community, as stated on her website.
"Trump stated on "The Five" that he has a large number of students currently enrolled, so he will continue with that, and it is crucial to provide support to these children so that they can obtain a good job after completing their education, which in turn will enable them to give back to their communities."
What message would you send to women who are undecided about voting for your husband in November, as co-host Judge Jeanine Pirro asked the former first lady?
In the four years he was there, the country was in great shape, safe, and prosperous. She stated that he would bring that back.
Greg Gutfeld, a fellow co-host, inquired about any information that the former first lady would reveal about her husband that the general public is unaware of.
Melania discussed her memoir, which was released on Tuesday, and shared that she has some stories. She mentioned that Jesse Watters had read the book and found the stories to be cute and nice. She also described Jesse as warm, fun, and having a great personality. Melania emphasized that Jesse is very passionate about this country.
"He wants to ensure the country is safe, provide jobs for everyone, and promote a happy family life while treating everyone equally."
