Many in the entertainment industry privately thanked Joe Rogan for endorsing Trump.
Rogan stated that artists, musicians, and comedians are grateful for being able to express themselves privately because they fear being attacked if they do so publicly.
Joe Rogan, the podcast host, revealed that several individuals have privately expressed gratitude to him for supporting President-elect Trump just before his election victory.
After Trump's victory in the election, where he won both the electoral college and popular vote, many have discussed the influence of podcasts on persuading young men from diverse racial backgrounds to support him.
On Wednesday, "The Joe Rogan Experience" host discussed the backlash he faced after criticizing Harris.
"According to Rogan, people often say things they don't truly believe in order to avoid being attacked. They do this because they believe that if they say something, it will clear them and they will be okay. In essence, saying you support something can help you avoid criticism and gain approval from others."
Trump has been supported by many creatives and groups associated with liberal movements of the past, according to Rogan.
Many people don't speak their minds, and I've encountered several artists who thanked me for endorsing Trump because they can't do it themselves.
The podcast host continued, "Although they claim to want it, they do not want to be attacked for expressing their views. They are unable to say it openly. They believe the country is heading in the wrong direction. They think the government's control of social media, which would have been complete if it weren't for Elon's purchase of Twitter, is a problem."
Elon Musk's interview with Trump was released the day before the election, and Rogan endorsed Trump based on it.
In the podcast interview, Musk stated that a President Kamala Harris would utilize government powers to suppress X.
On Wednesday, Rogan stated that the media being controlled by a single ideology is a "dangerous precedent," regardless of whether it is a right-wing or left-wing government. He pointed out that in the U.K., individuals are being imprisoned for their tweets and Facebook posts, which he found "f---ing crazy."
"Rogan stated, "The whole thing is nuts. Trump has vowed to prioritize free speech and put an end to government censorship. We need to stop all government interference in what people say.""
