Lee Greenwood believes that a conservative revival is occurring in America, as he states, "The pendulum has swung."

In 1984, at the RNC Convention, Greenwood first sang his renowned tune 'God Bless the USA' for an American president.

The singer of a renowned American patriotic song perceives a resurgence of conservatism akin to the 1980s.

"Proud to Be an American" by Lee Greenwood, released in 1984, has remained a hit into the 21st century and beyond, even after the September 11 terror attacks in 2001.

"Greenwood told Planet Chronicle Digital that he doesn't see a resurgence of patriotism, but rather a continuous appreciation for it. He explained that grandparents have passed down the tradition of playing patriotic songs to their children, who then sing them to their own children. Greenwood has seen numerous videos of young children singing "Proud to Be an American" and waving American flags. He believes that patriotism begins at a young age and was true for him as well."

At a young age, Greenwood discovered his love for his country while serving as a drum major in a high school marching band.

"He stated, "I believe patriotism begins with the appreciation for the flag and its significance. As time goes on, one learns about the sacrifices made by the United States military and the many lives given to keep the flag flying. This sense of pride is felt every time I hear the national anthem and see a color guard marching out.""

For the past nine years, Donald Trump has utilized Greenwood's patriotic ballad at his campaign events and significant speeches, including the poignant instance when he entered the Republican National Convention after the assassination attempt against him in July.

As Trump entered the arena on the first night of the RNC, Greenwood sang his hit song before Trump's walk-out.

"Greenwood shared that he spoke from his heart while wanting to pay tribute to his friend, President Trump, due to the challenges he has faced. He expressed his admiration for Trump's patriotism and belief in America. Greenwood wanted to convey his knowledge of Trump's struggles to both Trump and the public in the arena."

"Greenwood shared with Planet Chronicle Digital that the president would often make a joke about letting his song play completely through during live performances or recordings. Despite this, the president would always say, "Well Lee, I hope you'll make a lot of money from that," even though it was not the case."

He clarified that he doesn't receive payment for his performances in front of the president, while chuckling.

Greenwood stated that it was meaningful to him that his song was used to unite the country through his campaign.

Greenwood, who performed "Proud to Be an American" for President Ronald Reagan at the 1984 RNC, believes that a conservative revival is on the horizon after Trump's victory over Kamala Harris.

"Green said, "I believe we won both the popular vote and the electoral college vote. Although the media tried to suppress it, America's voice was ultimately heard. Yes, there is a significant conservative movement, and the pendulum has swung back to Make America Great Again.""

Nick Bosa and Christian Pulisic, both renowned athletes in their respective sports, have taken to celebrating their achievements by performing the "Trump dance."

Greenwood mimicked Trump's "YMCA" move while stating that Americans strongly support the president.

Greenwood anticipates Trump's team to perform his song at his inauguration.

"It makes me very proud," he said.

During National Bible Week, Fox Digital had the opportunity to discuss his faith with Greenwood.

He acknowledged the existence of a higher power to which he turns in times of crisis and gratitude.

He directed followers to GodBlesstheUSABible.com, which offers a fresh interpretation of the King James Bible.
