If re-elected to the White House, former President Donald Trump would "eliminate" comedians "one-by-one," according to Kathy Griffin.

According to an interview she gave Entertainment Weekly, the comedian expressed her fear of a list of personal targets, including comedians, that Trump might target while in office.

She stated that he would eliminate us individually, just like in bowling, and she was not joking or being paranoid.

Griffin's interview was conducted prior to the release of her upcoming tour segment, titled after the trauma she experienced following the federal investigation into the infamous 2017 photo of herself holding a bloodied mask styled to resemble then-President Trump. In April 2023, Griffin disclosed that she had been diagnosed with an "extreme case" of "complex PTSD," or post-traumatic stress disorder.

Griffin was investigated by the Secret Service for attempting to murder former President Trump after a photo of her holding a fake severed head resembling him went viral and sparked backlash.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Griffin stated that the Department of Justice nearly arrested her for "conspiracy to assassinate the president of the United States."

"Trumpers are the ones who post the Trump photo the most, and they all want to send me to Guantanamo Bay," she previously stated. Later, she added, "After the Trump incident, everyone turned against me from all directions. It wasn't just Trumpers."

Griffin stated that she permanently lost one-third of her fanbase due to the infamous "beheaded Trump" photo.

"She stated that she is not a significant figure, but Trump won't be able to reach her on the first day. However, she believes that he will eventually get to her, and she trusts him. She added that Trump has a list and has known him for 25 to 30 years. Trump is petty and enjoys this situation. He doesn't want to be president or perform any presidential duties."

"If he is re-elected, he will target Jimmy Kimmel, Jon Stewart, and other prominent names, but specifically focus on Rosie O'Donnell. He will hold press conferences about his plans and be even crazier than before."
