Kamala Harris was lying to Americans about Biden's condition, says RFK Jr.: 'Concealer in chief'
Biden's decision not to run for re-election sparks RFK Jr.'s reaction.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is urging Democrats to adopt an "open selection" procedure for their presidential candidate following President Biden's declaration that he will not seek re-election.
"President Obama's call for an open process in the primary elections was right, and it's crucial for the Democrats to follow his advice," Kennedy stated on "Fox & Friends" Monday.
The independent presidential candidate maintains that there is no evidence of the Democratic Party intending to do so.
Kennedy stated that the process must be fair because the public perceives the system as being rigged, which it is, despite being prevented from challenging the president in the primaries.
Kennedy, who was previously a Democrat but is now an independent, stated that he will not seek the party's nomination.
"I won't join the Democratic Party until the system is fair. If it were, I would consider it."
Kennedy stated, "I am the only candidate who can defeat Trump according to polling, as the Democrats should consider."
Kennedy stated that Harris, who is now running with Biden's support, must provide an explanation for her role in concealing the true nature of the president's condition.
"She daily met with the president and repeatedly assured the public that he was capable of leading the country without any signs of deterioration or cognitive impairment, but this was not accurate."
"She has a big vulnerability because she's been the concealer in chief," he added.
At a hastily called press conference from his family's compound in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts, Kennedy praised Biden while simultaneously accusing Democratic Party leaders of concealing his mental decline.
Kennedy commended President Biden's long and distinguished career in public service, which included representing and serving our country, and handling numerous difficulties and challenges with admirable conduct and empathy.
Kennedy, whose family once ruled the party he left after it blocked his primary challenge against Biden, stated that the Democratic National Committee made a mess by protecting Biden.
Kennedy contended that the DNC concealed the obvious condition from the public and used their influence over the Democratic Party nomination process to prevent anyone from challenging President Biden's deficiencies.
