Kamala Harris' campaign policies are blamed for the rise in food prices, according to JD Vance.
Why hasn't Kamala Harris resolved the issues she's running on, according to JD Vance?
Sen. JD Vance criticized Vice President Kamala Harris for pledging to address election problems if she gets elected in November, despite having been in office for nearly four years.
"Vance stated on "The Ingraham Angle" on Tuesday that Kamala Harris' campaign is built on the lie that she will be different from her time in office, despite her policies resulting in higher grocery and food prices, and an open southern border."
"If Kamala Harris believes these policies will be beneficial, despite their being nonsensical, she should implement them now since she is currently in power, rather than making a promise to do so in the future when she is not yet in office."
During her first significant interview since being named the Democratic presidential candidate, Dana Bash of CNN questioned Harris about why certain proposals were not implemented during her tenure as Vice President.
The Biden-Harris administration has successfully recovered the economy from the COVID-19 pandemic by bringing back jobs and lowering inflation, as stated by her.
"Although there's still work to be done, that's impressive progress," she remarked.
In August, Harris unveiled her economic plan at a rally in North Carolina, which included a $25,000 subsidy for first-time homebuyers, a price-fixing plan for food and groceries, and a $6,000 child tax credit for families with a newborn in the first year of life.
"As president, I will address the most pressing concerns of Americans, which are the high costs of food. Although prices increased during the pandemic due to supply chain disruptions, our supply chains have since improved, yet prices remain too high," she stated at the event.
At a rally in Pennsylvania last month, Trump criticized Harris' economic proposal, stating that her plans would lead to "rationing, hunger, and skyrocketing prices."
"Comrade Kamala declared her intention to implement socialist price controls. You know from experience that this approach has never been successful," he stated.
Vance stated on Planet Chronicle that Harris' economic plan is centered on "pro-globalism" and "opposing American workers."
In addition to discussing his low approval ratings among voters, the Ohio senator also mentioned his unfavorable standing compared to his Democratic opponent, Tim Walz.
According to FiveThirtyEight's polling average, 34% of people have a favorable opinion of him, while 44% have an unfavorable opinion.
""My strategy is to meet as many people as possible and give unscripted remarks, just like Donald Trump. We don't rely on teleprompted speeches, and I plan to continue this approach by giving press conferences and engaging with people directly," he stated."
"Vance stated that he doesn't rely on polls, even those that show his party in the lead, and instead puts faith in the wisdom of the American people. He believes that if they go out and make their case, the American people will elect them. He is confident in their ability to win and has 65 days to do so."
