'Joy Behar of 'The View' expresses concern about polls for Democrats, but advises caution.'
Trump's lead over Harris among likely voters in an ABC News/Ipsos poll has decreased from 6 points to 2 points, with Harris winning 50%-48%.
Joy Behar, a co-host of "The View," has revealed that she is not pleased with the recent 2024 polls and their potential impact on Democrats just three weeks before Election Day.
On Wednesday's show, Behar expressed concern about the polls because she noticed that the media was reporting that he was leading, and people were becoming anxious.
Whoopi Goldberg and Behar concurred that the media is intentionally pushing a particular narrative.
Don't let the feeling of hopelessness among Democrats and Kamala supporters deter you, advised Behar.
Recent surveys indicate a close contest, with former President Trump appearing to gain ground.
An NBC News poll of registered voters nationwide showed Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump tied at 48%. An ABC News/Ipsos poll showed Harris's lead over Trump narrowing from six points last month to just two points, 50%-48%, among likely voters. Meanwhile, a CBS News/YouGov nonprobability-based survey of likely voters showed Harris's advantage over Trump decreasing from four points a month ago to just three points.
Trump appears to be winning over Black male voters, despite Obama's criticism of the demographic for not showing enough enthusiasm for Harris.
Despite Behar's criticism, Griffin pointed out that many Americans still support Trump.
Show up," Behar concluded, echoing the sentiment of the statement that "99% of success is showing up.
Goldberg stated that she didn't let the polls influence her and didn't necessarily believe them.
"We must have greater confidence in the American public," she stated. "We treat people as if they are unintelligent. It's clear what needs to be done. You must make a decision, then act on it and trust that God will guide you."
During early voting in Georgia, reports indicated that lines were "around the corner," which filled Sunny Hostin with optimism.
Goldberg nodded, stating that she anticipated similar occurrences nationwide due to the significance of the election, which would motivate individuals to participate.
On Wednesday, both Trump and Harris were featured on Planet Chronicle. Trump participated in a town hall with female voters hosted by Harris Faulkner, while Harris made her first ever appearance on Planet Chronicle on "Special Report" with host Bret Baier.
Planet Chronicle' Paul Steinhauser and David Rutz contributed to this report.
