James Carville criticizes the Harris-Walz campaign for poor handling of Vance's Obamacare comments: 'Act!'
"What the hell are you people doing? Get off your asses. Move, move, move!" he exclaimed about the Harris-Walz response.
During Tuesday night's debate, James Carville strongly criticized the Harris-Walz campaign for not doing enough to refute JD Vance's claim that former President Donald Trump "saved Obamacare."
The strategist criticized the Harris/Walz campaign for their ineffective response to Vance's statement that Trump improved the ACA while in office.
"Why isn't Harris herself out today discussing that," Carville fumed on the Politics War Room podcast. "Get off your a--. Move, move, move!"
Carville pointed out that the ACA is a significant law that addresses the major issue of health care.
He repeatedly asked why Harris wasn't out in the media talking about Vance's claim, which he called an out and out lie.
"Get her out there now, now!" he exclaimed. "They should have Obama and Nancy Pelosi on a Zoom call with the national media. Use everything to kick the crap out of this now."
"Trump did everything in his power to destroy it, and this is not a trivial matter that people don't care about," Carville stated. "It's not a minor detail, and I must emphasize that the White House response and, for the most part, the press response are not proportionate to the gravity of this lie and the significance of this. You are lying about people's lives."
"What are you people doing," he yelled. "Get off your asses. Move, move, move!"
During an appearance on CNN, Carville advised Democrats to react strongly to Vance's "pants-on-fire" claim, as reported by Mediate first.
""Why haven't they gone crazy over Vance saying that Donald Trump saved Obamacare?" Carville said, calling it "pants-on-fire, 5-star 20 Pinocchio B.S." and a great issue for Democrats."
"I don't understand why they didn't bring out Vice President Kamala Harris, President Obama, former Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and others to address the issue," he said, adding, "What are you talking about?"
