In the last episode of "Saturday Night Live" before the election, Kamala Harris appeared alongside her impersonator on the show.

On Saturday night, Maya Rudolph portrayed Harris as a "mirror image" of herself, poking fun at Trump's sanitation vest and Biden's gaffes in the cold open.

Harris, a Black, south Asian woman running for president, wished she could speak with someone who had experienced similar challenges. Specifically, she desired to connect with a woman from the Bay Area who had faced similar obstacles.

Harris was seated opposite her, causing a thunderous applause from the crowd. He grinned and exclaimed, "We're in this together, sis!"

Trump was reminded by Harris that he has the ability to open doors, and that he should not underestimate himself.

Trump was observed having difficulty opening the door of the garbage truck he spoke to reporters about this week. The garbage truck and vest were intended to highlight Biden's statement this week that Trump's supporters were "garbage."

Harris questioned whether he truly laughs in that manner after Rudolph made fun of his distinctive laugh.

"A little bit," Rudolph responded.

A series of rhymes around Harris' first name followed, with Rudolph saying, "Kamala, take my palm-ala."

""The American people want to put an end to the chaos and drama," Rudolph and Harris stated together."

"Rudolph said, 'With a cool new step mom-ala. Get back in our pajama-las. And watch a rom-com-ala,' and the two later touted their 'belief in the promise of America.'"

At the conclusion of the skit, Rudolph declared, 'I'll cast my vote for us.'

Harris inquired, "Are you registered in Pennsylvania?"

"Nope, I am not," Rudolph said.

"It was worth a try," Harris remarked before the two performed the show's signature, "Live from New York, it's Saturday night!"

On Saturday, reports emerged that Harris made a surprise appearance on a show, which the Trump campaign criticized her for.

Kamala Harris has nothing substantial to offer the American people, so that’s why she’s living out her warped fantasy cosplaying with her elitist friends on Saturday Night Leftists as her campaign spirals down the drain into obscurity. For the last four years, Kamala’s destructive policies have led to untold misery and hurt for all Americans. She broke it, and President Trump will fix it, according to spokesman Steven Cheung.

Harris wasn't the only Democrat to make a cameo on the show.

In a game show skit, a contestant failed to recall who Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine was, despite him being Hillary Clinton's 2016 running mate.

Politicians, including Trump, have hosted SNL as themselves. The show has expressed its dislike for Trump and celebrated his defeat in 2020.

During their previous presidential campaigns, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Sarah Palin, and John McCain all made appearances on SNL as themselves.
