In an exclusive interview, Trump discusses his first assassination attempt: 'It was the craziest day'
Laura Ingraham receives new information from Trump about Barron's discovery of the Pennsylvania shooting.
Don't miss the "Ingraham Angle" interview with former President Trump, airing Monday night at 7:00pm ET on Planet Chronicle Channel.
During his second rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, President Trump disclosed new information about his first assassination attempt, specifically how his son Barron learned about the attack through an exclusive interview with Laura Ingraham on Planet Chronicle.
"Barron was playing tennis with his friends when someone approached and said, 'Your father has been shot,'" Trump said on "The Ingraham Angle." "Barron loves his father a lot and came in asking, 'Mom, mom, mom, what happened?'"
"As I stood up, people speculated that I might be deceased," he said. "Then they saw the fist bump, and it became clear that I was very much alive."
Thousands of supporters gathered at the same site in Butler where Trump was shot in the ear by gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks on July 13.
Upon his arrival at the hospital, Trump stated that it was shut down.
"I was impressed with the hospital, but I didn't realize that when a president visits an area, they shut down the entire hospital. It was ready for this exact scenario," he said. "I was unaware of this until I arrived and saw doctors and nurses outside, with no patients inside. They literally closed it down as if they anticipated this."
"Who would ever think it's genius, but I was so impressed," he continued.
As Secret Service agents rushed to protect Trump after he was shot in the ear, he stood up and raised his fist in defiance, mouthing "fight, fight, fight."
"He remembered the time when he convinced others that he believed he was only hit in the ear. It was fascinating. However, they got him up, and he watched in silence as he stood up, despite being in vision. People didn't know if he was alive or not. Then, when he did a fist pump, everyone realized, and they started screaming, "USA, USA." It was the wildest day. It was an unforgettable time."
At 6:11 p.m., Trump paused to remember Corey Comperatore, who was killed while protecting his family during a rally on July 13. Comperatore, a firefighter, father, and rally attendee, was fatally wounded in the shooting.
In his speech at Butler, Trump began by expressing gratitude to Comperatore's family, particularly his widow and daughters, for being present.
As the election approaches, Elon Musk made a grand appearance and gave a speech, encouraging his supporters to vote.
"Be a nuisance to everyone," he instructed the crowd. "Remember, people everywhere on the street: Vote, vote, vote!"
"Vote, vote, vote," Musk urged, with the X owner jumping excitedly at one point.
