In a new Fox Nation series, Sylvester Stallone shares the secret to his legendary Hollywood success.
In the first episode of his new Fox Nation series, 'Sean Hannity,' Sean Hannity interviewed Sylvester Stallone and his wife Jennifer.
"Sly explained to Hannity why he prefers "Rocky" over "Rambo," despite loving both movies. He said that the "Rocky" series resonates with him and his friends because they can relate to it."
"Sly acknowledged Sean's words about the relatability of feeling uncertain about one's fate, destiny, and capabilities. He shared his own struggles with not being able to achieve his aspirations and how it leads to a lifetime of quiet frustration. Sly expressed his desire for an opportunity to fail, even if it meant being coached only once, so he could run the race and know if he had what it takes."
"Never being able to try to do your best to like, get a shot, is a very simple story about that," he continued. "Even intellectuals and people in white-collar jobs can find something in it. Additionally, the need for hope."
During the interview, Sly disclosed details of his tumultuous childhood, describing a family life that was "dysfunctional" and marked by abuse and heartache.
"Stallone stated that if people were arrested today, he would have been among them. However, he has the ability to channel that experience, which he believes has made him successful. He understands rejection, hardship, and fear, and his father's inability to break him has only made him stronger. He knows what it's like to live on the dark side."
Despite describing his past relationships as "abhorrent," Sly highly praised his wife of 36 years. "I couldn't survive without her. She is my… everything, my sun, my moon, everything."
Jillian Michaels, Stephen Smith, and other notable figures from politics, Hollywood, and beyond are featured in Hannity's series, which showcases candid conversations and unfiltered discussions.
The first episode of "Sean," starring the Stallones, is currently streaming on Fox Nation.
