In a harsh on-air critique, Kevin O'Leary described Kamala Harris as a "broken" candidate with "no compassion."
'Shark Tank' star revealed that he was a complete failure in 2020 and struggled to communicate his thoughts effectively.
On Tuesday, Kevin O'Leary, a millionaire investor and "Shark Tank" star, gave a harsh critique of Vice President Kamala Harris, stating that her November loss was due to political inadequacies that have been present for a long time.
O'Leary stated on "CNN NewsNight with Abby Phillip" that the major error by Democrats occurred early in the process when they chose Harris as the nominee without conducting a primary.
""They used $317 million as an excuse for their loss in 2019 and 2020. They kept the same campaign manager and anointed a faulted, broken candidate who was inconsequential in her vice presidency, despite her lack of articulation and compassion for people and her own advocates," he said."
Harris' appearance on "The View" was a turning point in her campaign, according to O'Leary. He believed that the women on the show wanted her to win and gave her "softball" questions to improve her public image. In that interview, Harris was unable to provide a clear answer on what she would have done differently from Biden in the previous four years, further linking her to the unpopular incumbent.
"She was such a weak candidate that she couldn't answer what she would do differently. It spread globally. She was done. They will never do that again," he said.
O'Leary has consistently spoken out against Harris and the Democrats prior to the 2024 presidential election.
In October, on "CNN NewsNight," he expressed his view that Democrats should have concerns about her nomination after watching her town hall the previous night.
Only 90 days ago, Nancy Pelosi went to Biden and urged him to step aside. He made the decision and questioned whether Pelosi was the right person to drive the process forward. They decided not to run a process, and it is unclear who 'they' was - Obama or Pelosi.
O'Leary claimed that Harris' nomination is the second time the Democratic Party has bypassed democracy, using an analogy about stock picking.
