On "Jesse Watters Primetime," Evan Barker, a former Democratic operative, disclosed that she had left the party and cast her vote for President-elect Donald Trump in November.
If Gavin Newsom becomes the Democratic nominee in 2028, he won't be able to win over swing voters in swing states, so the Democrats deserve to lose again.
Newsom's infamous dining at the French Laundry during lockdowns could make it challenging for him to connect with working-class voters, according to Barker.
During the 2020 presidential election, Newsom served as a prominent surrogate for Biden and engaged in a debate with DeSantis on Planet Chronicle, with the approval of the White House.
New Hampshire and South Carolina, two early-voting states on the Democratic Party's nominating calendar, were visited by Newsom on behalf of Biden.
After Trump's election win, Newsom emerged as a leader of the Democratic Party, vowing to lead the opposition. The governor immediately called for a meeting of California state lawmakers to swiftly enact legislation in response to Trump's expected agenda.
Newsom's second term in Sacramento will end next year, coinciding with the start of the 2028 presidential election.
Newsom's office did not respond to Planet Chronicle Digital's request for comment.
If Newsom decides to run for governor, Harris could potentially become the new governor of California.
A poll from the University of California at Berkeley Institute of Governmental Studies, co-sponsored by the Los Angeles Times, found that 46 percent of Golden State registered voters were likely to support Harris for governor in an October poll.
A majority of respondents, 58%, said they would be very likely or somewhat likely to support the vice president.
