Gretchen Whitmer's bizarre viral Doritos video is not being asked about by CNN.
TikTok trend involved people feeding each other in videos.
On Friday, CNN did not inquire about the viral video of Gov. Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan feeding a Dorito to a left-wing influencer.
Whitmer responded to Trump's criticism of Detroit and Harris' campaign on CNN, addressing differences between her and Biden.
CNN's Kate Bolduan did not discuss an unusual clip of Whitmer that had been mocked by a CNN panel the previous night.
This week, liberal journalist Liz Plank shared a video on TikTok of Whitmer eating a Doritos chip, followed by a Harris-Walz camo hat, while nodding and singing "Dilemma" in the background. The video was part of a popular trend on the platform where people feed each other.
It is unclear why this is popular.
Criticism was sparked by Plank's kneeling pose in the video, with some commenting that Whitmer was mocking recipients of Holy Communion, while others found it strange and off-putting.
Gretchen Whitmer will take action if he doesn't, as stated in a caption under Plank's Instagram video post. The CHIPS Act is a crucial piece of legislation that will benefit the US tech and manufacturing industries by increasing domestic production of semiconductors, reducing dependence on foreign suppliers. However, this progress could be jeopardized by Donald Trump's actions. The video featured an interview with Whitmer, who has been frequently mentioned as a potential national candidate by Democrats.
Whitmer's political aide stated that the governor's social media is known for incorporating pop culture into her communications.
The CHIPS Act has gained popularity among people, including Billie Eilish, Kylie Jenner, and Stephen Colbert, as evidenced by the attention paid to a video promoting it. Republicans, however, are attempting to divert attention from the fact that Democrats have invested billions of dollars into local economies to create jobs and bring supply chains back from overseas. In contrast, Donald Trump's policies would have the opposite effect, killing these jobs and sending them back to China.
Conservatives widely mocked the video, with some claiming it was a mockery of Christians. Plank responded by saying that "weirdos" should "chill out," noting that it was part of a viral trend that had nothing to do with Christianity.
On Thursday night, CNN discussed the video and former 2020 Trump campaign official Marc Lotter mentioned it during the conclusion of CNN NewsNight.
Politicians should refrain from trying to appear "cool and young" while watching the video of Whitmer and the woman, as urged by Lotter.
"It's cringey," he said.
Abby Phillip, a CNN host, remarked, "It's a bit awkward. Can we all agree on that?"
CNN didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.
