On Thursday, filmmaker Mel Gibson and longtime critic of California Gov. Gavin Newsom, Joe Rogan, had a conversation during which Rogan criticized Newsom, a Democrat.

Wildfires in Los Angeles County have caused the loss of homes for many celebrities, burning over 27,000 acres, destroying over 10,000 structures, and claiming the lives of at least 7 people as of Thursday, according to local officials.

In Gibson's Texas studio, he expressed surprise that his Southern California home might still exist after his son sent him a video of his neighborhood on fire. Gibson later confirmed that his house had been destroyed.

Rogan, a former Californian, inquired whether you believe it will enable you to leave California at last.

Gibson replied, "Maybe I'll go to my home in Costa Rica," with a hesitant "Yeah."

""What did they spend on preventing these wildfires?" Rogan asked, after they spent $24 billion last year on the homeless."

"Zip," Gibson agreed. "In 2019, Newsom stated that he would take care of the forest, maintain it, and do all that kind of stuff. However, he did not follow through with his promise."

Additionally, they shut off the water supply, Rogan stated.

Gavin's hair gel may have been funded with taxpayer money, according to Gibson's joke.

The podcast host contended that the entire state is poorly managed, causing frustration and confusion. He then expressed his disbelief when the governor appeared on TV and claimed that everything in California is great, boasting about the state's economy. The host exclaimed, "You're out of your f---ing mind, dude!"

Gibson stated that the team that was in San Francisco is now in L.A. and is performing the same actions as they did in San Francisco.
