A girlfriend who was once a prominent stay-at-home girlfriend (SAHG) revealed that she used to be a feminist and careerist who wanted to get her "tubes tied" until she found herself in a relationship with a millionaire who gave her a lavish lifestyle.

Nia Chi, a SAHG influencer, shared her journey from climbing the corporate ladder to credit card swiping in an interview with Planet Chronicle Digital. Her videos of her luxurious life have gone viral, amassing millions of views on TikTok.

Nia is also known for sharing strongly anti-feminist views.

"In one of her TikTok videos, she stated, "I'd rather be wealthy than a feminist.""

"I never knew my dream job until I realized I don't dream of work. Instead, I dream of being a hot housewife," she said in a TikTok video.

The trend of stay-at-home girlfriends, popular among Gen Z, has gained traction on social media platforms such as TikTok. The Wall Street Journal has described this trend as "gaining momentum" in Gen Z culture.

"Nia, a 22-year-old, described a stay-at-home girlfriend (SAHG) as a housewife without a ring to Planet Chronicle Digital. She explained that she stays at home while her boyfriend works and takes care of the house, considering herself both a homemaker and a SAHG. Eventually, when they get married and have kids, she will be a housewife and a stay-at-home mom."

Nia met her boyfriend while she was working in marketing.

"I was still working, so I was all for climbing the corporate ladder," she said. "As an only child of business owners, I was instilled with the values of independence and ambition from a young age, striving for a successful career or business."

But Nia's boyfriend's traditional values softened her careerist mindset.

"Critics of the SAHG movement can't comprehend why women would return to the 1950s and serve men. In my view, it's portrayed negatively in culture. I find it empowering to do it, and I love it," she stated.

TikTok's SAHG influencers share "day in the life" videos, sparking mixed reviews. While some women admire their carefree lifestyle, others criticize it for being materialistic and lacking long-term relationships.

Nia portrayed her typical day as commencing with leisurely mornings, involving some culinary activities and household chores.

"Each day is unique as we don't have a set schedule. We wake up whenever we feel like it. I enjoy slow mornings and usually prepare breakfast and dinner. Occasionally, I cook lunch too. I handle most of the cleaning as he is the breadwinner. Although it may be controversial, it works for us. I don't mind taking care of the household."

Nia enjoys philanthropic passions and plans to start a nonprofit. She also has a lot of hobbies that she focuses on daily and loves to travel "often."

"It's a very relaxed and happy life," she added.

Nia has an agreement with her boyfriend that she must maintain a weight of under 130 lbs, cook him every meal, spend no more than $20K on luxury shopping per month, and dress modestly.

Nia's dream lifestyle is attainable because she maintains her appearance and keeps her home in exchange for $46,000 spent on Cartier jewelry. This is equivalent to the average American salary of $59,428, according to Forbes.

She revealed to Planet Chronicle Digital that her most common indulgences are bags, jewelry, and skincare products, which she considers her three vices.

I love Chanel, Hermès Birkins, and Kellys.

Sometimes, we indulge and treat ourselves to things we enjoy. And to be honest, I don't regret it. I appreciate having my small luxuries.

Nia cautioned that women who pursue glamorous lifestyles without a secure relationship or backup plan may face danger.

Nia revealed that she has a career background and a degree as a safety net in case her current relationship doesn't work out. She stated that she would wait a maximum of three years for a ring.

While it's important to prioritize self-care, this lifestyle works great for me. I appreciate traditional values and have a degree and financial freedom to fall back on. I'm thrilled to see other women embracing a soft life and men becoming providers again to ensure both parties' security.

Nia previously found the idea of settling down repellent, but now she loves "being feminine" and says her relationship with her boyfriend excised the "feminism" from her body.

"I never wanted kids until I started dating my boyfriend. I wanted to get my tubes tied. I was a very feminist career woman. 'I don't want no man, I don't need no kids,' All of that," she said.

""I love the idea of having a family," she said."
