Elizabeth Warren is losing votes every day in the Senate race, according to a marine veteran challenging her.
John Deaton emerged victorious in the Massachusetts Senate primary, securing more than 60% of the vote.
An ex-Marine Corps soldier is challenging longtime Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren in an effort to change the seat's color by campaigning on the "American dream."
"John Deaton, a Republican Senate candidate, stated on "Fox & Friends" that he is the living embodiment of the American dream and everything that's possible in a great free country like ours. He entered the race because he sees the dream dying."
Since January 2023, Massachusetts has not elected a Republican to any statewide office. Polls indicate that Warren, a former Republican, is likely to retain her seat in November.
"Elizabeth Warren and her elite allies are hyper-partisan individuals who use division to maintain their power, but the people are tired of it and are ready for change. I will bring that change to Massachusetts."
Deaton claims that his non-partisan approach will challenge the perception surrounding Warren and potentially shift the state's vote towards the GOP candidate.
"My loyalty lies with Massachusetts and America. I have served in the Marine Corps and taken an oath to serve my country. I understand the significance of this oath and the responsibility it entails. Elizabeth Warren is devoted to the Democratic Party and her own political aspirations and motivations. My commitment to the United States Senate will be based on whether it benefits Massachusetts and America. If it does, I will fully support it. Otherwise, I will not."
"The test and loyalty will distinguish us."
Deaton highlighted illegal immigration and the cost of living as two major concerns for voters that were not as pressing a few years ago. He criticized Warren, stating that she is losing support daily due to her divisive politics and commitment to a specific agenda.
In the Massachusetts primary, Deaton emerged victorious over two other GOP candidates, securing 64.9% of the vote. Bob Antonellis received 25.9%, while Ian Cain obtained 9.1%.
The primary win sets Deaton up to face Democratic Sen. Warren in November.
