Katie Pavlich of Fox Nation explores the country's top luxurious outdoor destinations in the new season of "Luxury Hunting Lodges of America," showcasing the most sought-after hunting and fishing properties across the nation.

Pavlich begins season three by visiting Cibolo Creek Ranch in Marfa, Texas. This 19th-century property, situated on 30,000 acres in southwest Texas, is steeped in history and offers guests staying in historic forts a range of activities, including tours, shooting, hunting, and horseback rides.

"Pavlich explained to Planet Chronicle Digital in an exclusive interview that the history of the location where they were staying was immense. It was not just a place to stay, but it held significance. The decor of the place felt authentic to him, as he is from Arizona and knows the Southwest well. He particularly appreciated the authenticity of Cibolo Creek."

"We rode horses around at sunset and went aoudad hunting, which was both incredible and absolutely amazing. I had to hike up a real cliff to retrieve it, which was an exhilarating experience."

Legendary Chef Charlie Palmer provides state-of-the-art cuisine at Wing and Barrel Ranch

Sonoma's Wing and Barrel Ranch is not typically associated with California's wine country, but as Pavlich discovers, it is one of the country's most prized hunting lodges.

The retreat combines the exquisite wine and food of Northern California with outdoor activities, including wing-shooting, leaving members craving for more.

"To have wine from your winery in their lodge, you must be a member of the sportsman's community and be a hunter or enjoy clay shooting or shotgun shooting. The lodge is popular among high-profile people, so only those who meet the criteria are allowed entry."

Pavlich departs for Missouri to visit Big Cedar Lodge, a top-notch outdoor resort nestled in the Ozarks. This is an excellent wilderness getaway for nature enthusiasts, boasting numerous modern golf courses and fishing excursions.

During her visit, Pavlich gets to experience the unique lodge resort, grandiose accommodations, and all that Bass Pro CEO Johnny Morris has made the property an angler's dream.

"Pavlich stated that Johnny Morris is the Walt Disney of the outdoors, and it was evident when visiting Big Cedar. The place is a large, family-friendly destination that offers activities for both adults and children, all of which are outdoors. The golf course is available, but there is also a trail that can be seen in the episode, where visitors can go through a cave and bring their kids in a golf cart. Additionally, there is an underwater-themed bowling alley, fishing, and other outdoor activities."

Pavlich touted Morris' lifetime commitment to conservation, stating that it was definitely more accessible to the everyday person.

Katie Pavlich partakes in 'predator management' at Brush Creek Ranch in Wyoming

During her travels, Pavlich learns how to aid local species by participating in "predator management" at Brush Creek Ranch in Saratoga, Wyoming.

The local wildlife is at risk if predators become too numerous, such as coyotes, lions, or wolves, as this can lead to a significant decline in the deer and elk populations. This can cause an imbalance in the ecosystem. However, it is also essential for ranchers to manage predators because they target livestock, which is their source of income.

This winter wonderland offers a variety of activities such as horseback riding, archery, float fishing, barrel racing, pistol and rifle shooting, ice fishing, and paintball.

"There was just so much history to where we were staying… It actually means something." — Katie Pavlich, Fox Nation

Pavlich puts on her boots and heads back to the Lone Star State to visit Champion Ranch, a remarkable hunting lodge and resort located about two and a half hours northwest of Austin.

The ranch showcases a variety of exotic animals that are commonly found in regions such as Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and beyond. Some of these animals include the addax, Afghan urial, Alamo whitetail, Arabian oryx, and Armenian mouflon, among others.

"I've never seen anything like the lodge before. It's a four-story warehouse filled with taxidermy and cabins, showcasing incredible animals from all over the world. They have different sections to explore, including North America, Africa, and South America."

"It was astonishing to witness the assembly of a vast warehouse containing a diverse array of animals," she added.

Guests' families can enjoy a range of nature-based activities in addition to Texas-sized trophy hunting, such as a photo safari, bass fishing, campfires, and swimming.

But Pavlich's adventures don't stop there.

The host of The Fox Nation journeys to Alaska to conclude the season, and enjoys exceptional fishing on her private island at the Talon Lodge and Spa in Sitka.

She told Planet Chronicle Digital this was one of her favorite visits yet.

"The lodge offers a breathtaking view of bald eagles, sea otters, and a volcano, with a 360-degree perspective. The spa and open-air areas provide a warm and relaxing atmosphere, while the heaters ensure comfort. The vastness and beauty of the surroundings make one feel small and in awe."

Pavlich took part in both freshwater and deep sea fishing, which she stated made Alaska stand out among other angler experiences.

Pavlich has only three states left on her list to visit after wrapping season three, which are Mississippi, Alabama, and Kansas. Perhaps fans of the show will get to watch her explore these states next season. Until then, Fox Nation subscribers can stream her latest adventures now.
