Democrats reaffirm their stance, vowing to continually label Trump as a danger to democracy.
House Dems questioned after second assassination attempt against Trump.
Despite the second alleged assassination attempt on former President Trump, Democrats are continuing to label him as a "threat to democracy" without moderating their rhetoric.
Did Hillary Vaughn, a FOX Business reporter, ask Democrats on Capitol Hill if their rhetoric should be moderated?
According to Rep. Hank Johnson, D-Ga, he poses a danger to democracy.
"Rep. Pramila Jayapal, D-Wa., stated that "he (Trump) is a threat to democracy" and urged that "his rhetoric should be toned down, absolutely.""
Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, stated, "He is a threat. Period. Point-blank."
Rep. Mike Lawler, R-N.Y., criticized Democrats for their statements on Friday, urging them to moderate their tone as the election approaches, according to "Fox & Friends."
Lawler stated that it is absurd to label him as a threat to democracy. Our democracy has lasted for 248 years and will continue to do so, regardless of the election outcome. We will be just fine, he assured.
Lawler stated that they gaslighted the nation about Joe Biden's cognitive abilities for a year and then undermined 14.6 million Democratic primary voters, ultimately removing him and installing Kamala Harris. It is difficult to discuss threats to democracy when such actions are taken.
On "Fox & Friends First," Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., stated that the left is unable to comprehend the repercussions of their inflammatory language.
I face daily threats and can't fathom the terror the Trump family experiences when they're in public. They're vocal. They're patriotic. It's unjustifiable to be targeted for loving the USA like Donald Trump, as Mace stated.
In a private call with donors earlier this year, President Biden criticized the media for not adequately scrutinizing Trump and suggested it was necessary to target him with more scrutiny. After the first assassination attempt against Trump, Biden acknowledged that using the phrase "put Trump in the bulls-eye" was a mistake.
Trump has been accused of being a "threat to Democracy" by both the president and Vice President Harris on multiple occasions.
Last year, Democratic Rep. Dan Goldman stated that Trump is so "dangerous" to democracy that he "has to be eliminated."
"His inflammatory rhetoric and recent truth social post are increasingly dangerous, and it is clear that he cannot hold public office again. He is unfit and destructive to our democracy, and must be eliminated."
After the first assassination against Trump, Goldman strongly condemned political violence and expressed his horror. Following the second assassination attempt, Goldman expressed his outrage.
Maxine Waters, a Democratic representative, has frequently faced criticism from Republicans for her remarks, which are perceived as inciting violence, such as urging protesters in Minnesota to become more confrontational and encouraging Democrats to confront Trump officials in public.
