CNN stops covering Trump's speeches and mocks the reactions to the Supreme Court arguments.
Jake Tapper stated that he believes they have obtained all the legal analysis they will receive from President Trump.
On Thursday, a CNN panel erupted in laughter after interrupting former President Trump's remarks during Supreme Court oral arguments on whether he should be barred from the ballot in Colorado.
Trump criticized the Biden administration while speaking about the Supreme Court ballot hearing from his home in Palm Beach, Florida, but CNN cut away from him as he began his attack.
"OK, I believe we've obtained all the legal analysis we'll receive from President Trump," Tapper stated, with panelist George Conway chuckling uncontrollably.
Tapper remarked, "This was actually an opportunity, but it's odd here because I was interrupted by CNN's giggly panelist."
"Conway stated that he doesn't want to discuss the Supreme Court but instead wants to focus on his own thoughts."
CNN correspondent Jamie Gangel, who found Trump's comments amusing, added, "It's clear that someone didn't inform him that his speech sounded like good news for him. The rambling campaign speech was only the beginning; if he had listened to the analysis, he would have known that his position was strong."
CNN shifted its focus back to Trump after Tapper stated that he was discussing legal matters, resulting in more laughter from Conway. The network aired a brief clip of Trump before cutting away for a second time, this time during his criticism of illegal immigration under Biden.
Joan Biskupic received the toss from Tapper, who stated that the "tea-leaf readers" on the panel believed it sounded like several Supreme Court Justices would not uphold the Colorado Supreme Court's decision to prohibit Trump from running for president in that state.
Biskupic stated that one of her panelists mentioned reading the room, and she believed that the argument in the room ended much earlier than 12:15-12:30. She then noted that all nine Justices agreed that Colorado made a mistake.
CNN returned to Trump after Tapper reluctantly informed viewers that he was instructed to focus on Trump.
Tapper informed Biskupic that she had to interrupt because former President Trump was answering questions.
CNN briefly aired Trump answering questions before Tapper interrupted, stating it was a campaign appearance and transitioned to Kaitlin Collins for analysis.
MSNBC interrupted Trump's remarks on Thursday, with host Andrea Mitchell commenting that he seemed to be "drifting off course."
Rachel Maddow of MSNBC revealed last month that the network declined to broadcast Trump's speech following his victory in the Iowa caucuses, stating that it couldn't air "falsehoods."
