CNN reports that Donald Trump Jr. claims the media has contributed to the radicalization of individuals seeking to assassinate his father.
Trump Jr. states that the occurrence did not happen by magic.
On Tuesday, Donald Trump Jr. stated in a tense interview with CNN that the media is partly to blame for the recent assassination attempts against his father, former President Trump, by spreading false narratives that radicalize his critics.
In the spin room after the CBS News Vice Presidential Debate, Trump Jr. concurred with CNN's Kaitlan Collins that the event was "civil" and pointed out that Sen. JD Vance, R-Ohio, and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz had acknowledged their agreement. The CNN host then inquired, "Should we witness more of that on the debate stage when your dad is present?"

""The media has created an environment that has radicalized people who are trying to kill my father. I've had to have that conversation with my five young children twice in the last two months about someone trying to shoot their grandfather," he continued."
Trump Jr. accused the media of creating a "fake Russia scenario" to tarnish his father, stating that the events didn't just magically happen.
Your dad's safety is everyone's concern, but the media cannot be blamed for the threats against his life since there is no evidence.
The former president’s son disagreed.
"Allowing someone to call someone 'literally Hitler' every day for nine years creates it, regardless of whether you believe it or not," Trump Jr. stated.
In July, a bullet grazed Trump's ear and killed Corey Comperatore, a former fire chief, during an assassination attempt on the former president. Thomas Matthew Crooks, the gunman, also critically wounded two other rally-goers.
In September, Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, was arrested for allegedly pushing an AK-47 muzzle through a chainlink fence near where Trump was golfing in Florida. Despite no shots being fired, the Secret Service spotted the potential gunman and opened fire, causing the suspect to flee and be arrested shortly afterward.
